Any idea of value on a minty 7600 35 Whelen carbine?
+/- $750ish for walnut. Synthetic would be less.
That translates into $1750 on the EE
i ve got one carbine in 35whelen that is soon to be a 9.3x62 carbine .....will post the pictures when done.
That will be a sweet rifle! Are you going with a re-barrel?
Doug
it may be rebore as i like the barrel and the sights on it.
You'd be better off getting a 760 in 30-06 cut back to 20" and re-bored. It's a better bbl length then the carbine and a lot cheaper rifle to obtain then the 35Whelen Carbine.
Flog the 35W on the EE to pay for the project.

Paul,
you re right and we had that discussion in the past.
but there is a but: stock of the carbine i have is made for left and right hand shooters and i do like the package. so far did not see a 760 like that.
Phil
I'd shoot it as-is. The money you spend on the re-bore could go toward some 35Whelen loading kit. It's not slouch compared to the 9.3.
This, not a thing in NA that could actually tell the difference between them provided bullets of equal construction are used.

I am a bit confused here
Six total walnut stocked 35W carbines made it to canada and when the odd one came up in the EE they sold used for 1200 plus and sold immediately
What happened??
Cheers
I've been wrong before. If I can get $1200 for a 35Whelen Carbine, I'd sell every one I could.![]()
