I'm getting old and forgetful. At least I'm consistent.
I'd shoot it as-is. The money you spend on the re-bore could go toward some 35Whelen loading kit. It's not slouch compared to the 9.3.

I paid $900 about a year and a half ago for 1 of the 35 Whelen carbines from The Gun Dealer blued with the non Monte Carlo synthetic stocks.
This doesn’t seem correct I had two at the same time, one with iron’s the other scoped. Decided I didn’t like the platform and sold them both, I posted them for about 750.00 and they took a while to sell.
I am a bit confused here
Six total walnut stocked 35W carbines
I know of 3 in carbine in my area, two walnut, one synthetic.
The two walnut were bought brand new but not from Epps.
Nope ,had one of the originals from Epps and foolishly traded it on something else that has long gone down the road . Thought this one would be a good replacement but..... I have a rifle version as well and prefer it to the carbine.
2011 Grice specials 7600's. WALNUT AND LAMINATED
all carbines. 35, 358, 270, 280, 35 whelen, 243, 257R,260, 7mm-08, 308.
Wasn't aware of the 358, got 25-06, 260,7mm-08, 35rem Carbine, 280 Carbine, and 308 Carbine.
the carbine 35 whelen version was made for France. will it be wood or synthetic version. the french remington rivolier can provide a battue sight for the carbine version also.
spoke with the reborer and the rifle will be shipped to alberta for a try. you can never know before if reboring will work or not.
