Yes. I've read reports of success with RL26 particularly with the heavier bullets--mainly 150s. A number of guys are getting higher velocity with the 150s with RL26 than with any other powder.
I would very much like to try Reloder 26 with 150 grain Nosler Partitions ... but i cannot find any of it anywhere. Perhaps someday it will come back.
I will be developing a powder ladder test for my 270 Win using Alliant Reloder 16 and 130 grain Nosler AccuBond bullets. I use WLR primers and Hornady brass. Reloder 16 is being advertised as "World Class stability across temperature extremes" as well as getting 3200+ fps velocity with 130 grain bullets. It does very well in a 30-06 too ... especially with bullet weights from 150 to 180 grains.
It apparently has a burn rate that is very close to H4350. H4350 supply is currently quite limited and it doesn't have the anti-copper fouling additives that Reloder 16 has. After reading through a few Internet reviews and test results I though I will give it a try.

RL26 would be my powder of choice for the 270 Win
I believe that the best bullet weight would be 150 gr. for that powder.
Yup, that's the powder I'm using in my 270 Win. My rifle achieved velocities between 3,255 to 3,266 fps with 130 gr. accubonds, great accuracy as well.

That sounds really good to me.Thank you for letting me know your load results. How many grains of Reloder 16 did you use with those 130 grain Nosler AccuBonds in order to get that velocity range? I would like to see if I can get that velocity range too. I am also interested to know what primer manufacturer you used? I have both Winchester WLRs and Federal Gold Metal Match large rifle (FD-GM210M).
Much appreciated
