The first couple 16s I bought were 2 9/16” chambered, so I started reloading for them with a 600jr and a roll crimper. I do shoot 16 occasionally for clays games and like to shoot them to stay sharp for hunting. I agree with canvasback in that, if you are primarily hunting with one, shells are no issue.
I even have a box of bismuth loads that I am saving for a special occasion (which means hunting waterfowl with my drilling - LOL). The one shell I have found to be unobtainium are brenneke slugs in 16. Not that I really need them...I just want to try them.
was it you that bought up all that odd brand of 16ga at Canadian tire on walker. and too keep the thread on track didn't Canada ammo have 16ga single shots dirt cheap awhile back
Not me. The bismuth I scored was in Nebraska too. It was on the shelf at Cabelas.
Understand that is why it is more of an expense to get set up and easier to buy factory
If you reloaded even one of the others adding the 16ga is no big deal since you would already have many of the items you would need
