owners for the value of their firearms after they are deliv-
ered to a police officer; however, until a buy-back program
is offered, affected owners will not be eligible for compen-
sation. An option to participate in a grandfathering regime
would also be made available for affected owners. Further
public communications on the buy-back program and the
grandfathering regime will follow later.
The Regulations and the Amnesty Order come into force
on the day they are made. The Amnesty Order expires on
April 30, 2022

Economy has gone to ish because of the pandemic and this tyrannical govt is going to implement a buy back? Spend the money on something more useful! Glen Motz was talking to the CBC propaganda machine today...he did a decent job.I appreciate his effort.

BUT...and if I am not mistaken he was the MP who sponsored the Bill...

He didn't mention the 175000ish Canadians who signed the largest petition in history saying the exact opposite to their claim of ''we consulted with Canadians''...

I feel this is a huge point to make, I know they don't care about the petition but it would be beneficial for the general public to be aware of this petition in general and its status.

Drunky Bill seems like he is now directed to make the point that {Oh don't worry we didn't completely circumvent democracy/parliamentary process once the government resumes we will have ''vigorous debates''}...about how the buyback scam/grandfathering will be cooked up...not about the fact that they have already stomped their boot heel tightly down on our throats...

Again, I feel the point and fact that nobody wanted this and it will do absolutely nothing to "Keep the public safe" is important narrative that needs to be pushed out.

I'm sure the CBC/Global/CTV etc and their subsidiaries probably won't be reaching out to firearm owners or business owners on their own accord necessarily but it would be worth trying to reach out to them...as an individual or probably more successfully a large business that could give a more of an economic spin to get the ball rolling as they will be heavily affected by this due to it being the life blood of the business...

So...we take every penny we have collectively throw it all at saaay the CCFR and get the ball rolling in every province to co-ordinate the appropriate steps to get everything moving, flyers,radio,online polls,media coverage/interviews,education for the public in as many major cities as possible, rallies,protest etc...

I know these are obvious things albeit difficult to organize and co-ordinate but at this point why not make the biggest public presence possible?

I’m 50 years old and have never been more ashamed to be Canadian than with this corrupt self absorbed twit as our PM. I’m just hoping that every hard working, law abiding Canadian votes Conservative next round so one day we can start to undue all the damage done by this ass clown... if he hasn’t completely bankrupt the country by then.

EVery single time you see or hear of an interview with an "anti" on CBC radio or TV- with no counterbalance from CCFR CSSA NFA or CSAAA, write to the cbc ombudsman to complain with date and show/journalist etc..
If they get a few dozen letters (emails) this takes up an enormous amount of their time and effort and they hate it. The trouble is they have gotten away with this for far too long.

Same for newspapers.

Is it just me or did they ban TOW rocket launchers, mortars, and anti tank rifles, but not the SKS? Did Justin give this assignment to his youngest child to develop? What’s with that? Trudeau on marijuana- legalization limits black market. The guy is a walking contradiction....fighting racism with a black face fetish.

In Canada you don't even have the right to be warned of a homicidal maniac shooting up your neighborhood for 12 hours. Police radio to prevent Fire dept from attending the active scene, neighbors walk over to help and are shot. Picture a perp walk of thousands of front line workers and young professionals being led to jail for peaceful non compliance.

You'd have to be nuts to hand over firearms to the first PM found guilty of multiple federal ethics laws, a respect for dictatorships, paid off failing media and who's open border invitations have led to the rise in gang and gun crime you've seen since his election.

My Grandfather and 7 of his brothers fought for this Country during WW2, thy Sons would be turning in their graves.
