To be honest guys forget the ccfr, nfa, CSSA ect. They have proven to have had literally zero effort on stopping or slowing down the tyrants wet dream. Time to cancel all memberships and redirect the money to a law firm. We need to take the feds to court over this.
 
I am disappointed that ccfr still think their best strategy is working on PR. PR is a long term strategy. But the banning is right to our face and we need immediate solution. Furthermore the Liberal party does not really care what the majority think. And they use the media to brainwash the thinking of the general public. We need to actively find a way to bring the issue to the court. Win it by finding a loophole in the law, not win by majority support.

There is nothing that can be done in court except delay the innevitable. An OIC is essentially a law and courts do not decide the law -- they only enforce them.
Our best hope is to publicly humiliate the current government so that they will never be allowed in power again. PR compaigns are the best way to do this.

Showing people who don't know anything about firearm laws or culture in Canada exactly why this is so egregious is how the LPC loses votes. If the LPC gets decimated over it, that also sends a very strong signal to the NDP, Greens and BQ that doing this kind of thing will make them bleed support.
 
A deactivated firearm is not a firearm anylonger (is not capable of firing/discharging a projectile).
Therefore, grandcathering is not applicabke any longer to such a chunk of metal.

Likely granfathering will require registering it and then you know what will come next.

Hopefully enough legal firearms owners will be now shaken enough after loosing so many firearms (1500 different models !) due to this ban in order to understand WHO to vote on when next election comes.
Also, hopefully there will be no votes splitting, or no not attending election at all, or no arguing with each other which political Party is „better/vorse” to vote on, or bringing in some crap from the past to prevent voting on the only Party that supports firearms owners (CPC), or other silly stunts....
