Not lower quality aluminum... softer aluminum. To be honest, there is a lot of discussions about what is better for a receiver set: 6061 or 7055... We went for the 6061 because it is, in my opinion, and a lot of others is safer as it will bulge and not splinter if the firearm has a case explosion out of battery. But the receivers are hard anodized.

But yes... all other standard AR15 parts fit, except the rear retainer pin, which will come with it.

They went together without any issues or having to ream out any pin holes... the bolt catch retainer is a screw as well, not a pin, like the SAI102. ;-)

JR

Thank you

I'm not acting like a saviour and you have every right to not like me nor buy from me, but you're hardly explaining the entire story. Plus it is over 7 years ago.

JR

If people cannot be absolved from their sins...they we all have no hope. A world without hope, will circle the drain faster than you can blink.

I don't know the story, frankly I don't care either way.

A few things...

We need competent leaders in this community that are willing to act.

We need followers to stand behind the leaders, and support them, as well as guide them.

If you do neither, take a good look in the mirror, and sort yourself out. We can help you with that too. Texting is a difficult platform to communicate at best, but what we have.

In this we community, we have shared interest, camaraderie, patriotic beliefs, and the necessity of survival and beliefs.

Call out J.R., but at least do so in a manner that will enable him to do better. If not for him, then for the community.

That one word gives the government carte blanche.

I see that as a reasonable opinion. Laws are made with intent...if done correctly, they have the intent effectively conveyed through the text of the law.

I suspect the Opinion would be based on facts, weighed in from all angles. Not just personal desire, or self interest.

No one is above the law.

If it'd in before the morn it's in I'd imagine

Correct.

If this rifle was prohibited by the OIC, we would have been forced to stop in our tracks... but as it stands, I was on a conference call with 7 lawyers, from 4 different firms: all very experienced, none of whom believed this latest assault by the RCMP lab was legal and with merit.

While I am arisk taker, we have decided to stop any more sales as of tomorrow morning at around 10am... there is poking the bear and pissing on its head.

Yeah a swat team busting true your door would do no good to you, us and the firearms community in Canada!

Thanks, don’t worry I won’t buy one since it’s already prohibited and I am a law abiding citizen plz don’t shoot my dog

Some of us have more than 7 year memories.

“If somebody comes in here with an illegal gun you can’t just turn your back,” he [JR] told Postmedia News.

Doesn't matter why he pointed out the issue to the RCMP, an illegal gun is an illegal gun. Take up your beef with the RCMP or the "other" dealer who brought in the converted autos. A lot is people don't like that he blew the whistle, but really the whistle needed to be blown.

I have been following this thread since the start.. the more I get to thinking about this, the more my ass is starting to hurt from sitting on the fence.

I am Loving the idea of harvesting all of the quality bits & pieces from my 1 year old BCM M4 and placing them on a non-restricted upper and lower and taking it out into the range or field (even its turns out to be non-restricted for a short while)

JR... re-assure me that my all BCM's parts will work and I may have to dip into line of credit on my coffee break in the morning !

R&D I suppose means rip off and deciept?
Gotta love the lowlife tactics that you seem to employ.
And by the way the ATRS version got prohib status today.

No 7075 is used, and by a reputable company.
Everyone seems to forget the Swiss Arms debacle and JRs hand in screwing us all over.

Your name says it all... Don't think because some of us will call you out for idiotic remarks that you are special - cause you're not.

You're just an idiot, and we like making sure everyone else knows just how much...
