Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

How long is it taking people to get the registration paper after the transfer approval? Or no change, roughly 3 more weeks?
 
I called today as a transfer I had from April 30 was approved last Friday and one from the 29th I hadn't heard anything. The CFP office told me it too was approved on July 10. Called the CFO and after 20 minutes on hold I get through. I ask what is going on with this transfer and they confirmed it was approved on July 10 but it looks like they forgot to send me the email. Gee nice going gang. I was told they're working on May 3 today.

Sigh, I’m at least a month out then on an early June R purchase.

And I have two R’s on layaway from a CGN Vendor, probably won’t have them in the safe until Christmas.

All I can hope at this point is that they are actually catching up and not permanently 2 months behind.
 
So it takes over 10 weeks for a transfer they have 5900 in the line so they are completing 100 transfers a day
 
Its ridiculous now.....quite obvious a purposeful slowdown....likely got pissy about all the AR lowers ater the ban became obvious.....now gettin penalized

The slowdown mirrored it....was before CV started.


FFS...... restricted gunowners matter!
 
You'll probably need to wait since it wouldn't be printed and mailed out until approved, but since it's coming roughly 2 weeks later, there doesn't seem to be a delay for that part.

Makes me want to settle up my Restricted layaways asap. Very over-leveraged due to my own panic buying, I’m embarrassed to admit.

Have two Restricted and one Non-Restricted on layaway.

Same here. June 5 purchase...and stupid me made another last wed. Guess it'll be a happy thanksgiving lol
