This is just my opinion, but I truly believe whatever happens with ATRS will set precident going forward.
Some companies that had their products frt status simply tucked in their tails and agreed to whatever rcmp said ( not laws).
Atrs has stood their ground and the fight came to them. We need to stand behind them , more now than ever!
Even if you aren’t a customer of ATRS, or even dislike them for whatever reason, we as a gun community need to stand strong with them!

Unfortunately ATRS has more to lose than those other companies... in my uneducated opinion anyway...

But yes, it affects us all.

Well said.
These guys are the ones that the rcmp have decided will be the gun cultures martyr. Knowing Rick he won't go down without a fight but fights cost money. Trying to run a business is tough enough in today's age, it is much tougher when you have to spend a ton of each day dealing with lawyers and the government thugs.
Judging by their website it is currently not possible to order any of their NR semi auto rifles, I suspect the feds may have something to do with this. Reading posts by others it seems the rcmp is treating the FRT as law, which it is NOT, but then again what can we expect from the arm of the government who is all in favor of a police state?

I can still see products including reciever sets for sale.
I'm no techno wiz, nor do I use the latest whiz bang set up and software, so dont know if I am accessing sone archived website?

You sure you're reading it right? The products are still listed and you can still choose which ones you want, but it will no longer let you check out, they've removed the purchase button so you can't buy anything anymore.

Donated, keep us updated and best of luck, let us know if there is more we can do, feel so helpless with all the underhand things the government has done in this pandemic.

Good on you.

I've made a few donations .... I try to here and there and whenever I can.
Its not the 1930s, but time are tough and they might get tougher.. no doubt about it.

I usually don't believe in planning my retirement on things I can sell used.
I don't like to keep a lot of stuff not currently in use in my reloading room either.

I think that it would be great if people could list things on the Equipment Exchange for donations to the ATRS legal fund (in lieu of cash).
Doesn't have to big-ticket items.. even just reloading room clearout items.

If 100 of us chose to list stuff on the EE (for brass, dies, parts etc etc ) at $25 or so, that would be another $2,500 towards the fight of EVERY gun owners rights... even the FUDS (whether they appreciate/acknowledge it or not) because 15 years now, the Liberals will come for all guns.

ATRS, we'd love an update. No pressure, but not being able to order a MS receiver is not something I wanted to see.

Has anyone from Alberta launched a complaint against Global News for the biased reporting in the way they made a news announcement about the Alberta Government’s firearms policies inquiry? Dallas introduced Mathew Conrad and he starts off and quotes Justin’s ar deer hunting comment but does not offer any information or explanation as to the fact that an AR is not able to be used for hunting under Canadian firearms law because of it’s long standing restricted status.

They also show obvious American video footage of a very high capacity magazine being used. Also restricted in Canada.

Then they also post a comment from Janet, who obviously doesn’t know anything about Canadian firearms laws either but Dallas reads it off giving the impression that people shoot up deer so that there’s nothing left!

What media bias, they don’t print a pretty picture of hunters or the firearms community in general with their reporting of the announcement!

Intentional ignorance and lack of research should be grounds fordismissle in their profession. It's their only job

Actually, their only job is to pump out whatever biased nonsense their corporate and government overlords dictate. It's the foolish public that believes journalism is held to some kind of higher standard and is worthy of being labelled as a profession. There is no ethical governance or body that oversees the fecal matter that these clowns squat and push out on a daily basis.

The media has been lying to people for the Canadian government's benefit since the media was created.

Keep up the good fight everyone at ATRS!

The media has learned from their masters. You can always tell when the media persons and politicians are lying, their lips move.

I'd like to do this, but I honestly don't have the time. If someone wants to part out a box of crap I can send it to them.

No that's their mandate.
