On one target it's noted that the ammo used is CCI SV. Was it used for the other target as well? It should be noted that this ammo is often inconsistent, easily producing a variety of group sizes even with top quality barrels. In order to have confidence in testing results, better, more reliably consistent ammo may be needed.
Two targets are shown, with the one dated April 17/21, and also posted originally on that date. Then, as now, it was noted that tuner setting #5 produced the best results. The newer target, dated today, May 8, shows tuner settings #5 and #9 producing the best results. Nevertheless, on the older April 17 target, tuner setting #9 produced poor results. Is setting #9 partial to May but not April?
To help determine whether the tuner is doing something good, shoot ten five-shot groups without a tuner. Then shoot ten five-shot-groups at setting #2 and ten five-shot groups at setting #9 to see if the results are better than the tuner-less groups. That can help verify the results. Single groups aren't reliable, nor is ammo such as CCI SV.
