sorry WX-MCR..............finish was poor, receiver pins were absolutely impossible to take out without a hammer and punch,so no fiels stripping and changing out uppers sharp edges all over the lower, very little mag well flaring, pplus my 762x39 top end didnt fit it
Thanks, that is probably why they sell WS and not WX now. Although all those issues do not appear to affect functionality.
I received my WS-MCR last week. It looks great and I can't wait to shoot it. All I need is a place to go. BTW, are they any dedicated 5 round magazines that will fit into the rifle? I am concerned the LAR-15 magazines will become prohibited and my two 30 round magazines are pinned to 5 cartridges. If C-21 bans pinned magazines, I won't be able to shoot the rifle legally. Such is life an Canada.
Congrats!
Can you confirm that the picatinny rail on the upper receiver is machined from the same block of aluminium as the entire receiver? I believe the previous generations had the upper receiver and a separate rail affixed together.
Also, I have not read that any LAR-15 pistol magazines have fitment issues with the MCR.
What type of sling attachements are you guys using?
Forgive me if this a dumb question, but does anyone know if the folding stock variant of this rifle can be swapped out for a traditional buffer tube and telescopic stock?
