had my Teknys out today for some 5-stand.
Never did it before...never did any shot-gunnin' before.
I started off good... I believe to first 8 were dust
But the cold started to set in and I was over thinking....I only hit about 6 after that great start.... LOL......
I figured out the problem on the way home. Lots of time to think stuck on hwy 400 for 45minutes!!!
When I started to shoot...I would track the 'bird', follow through and squeeze..."poof", dust

Did that quite a few times in a row.
I really enjoyed the encouragement from my fellow shooters.
But I never saw myself break any 'birds'....sighting down the barrel, I would lose sight of the 'bird' as I lead it and aimed a bit high, the barrel hid the 'bird' as I 'blew it to pieces'......this is where I made my error.
I wanted to see the 'birds' turn into dust....I changed my sight line ever so little so i had a better view of the 'bird' as I anticipated it to 'blow-up'. Instead of looking down the barrel, I started to look over it
That is of course when I started missing alot. I wanted to see what was happening, I lost focus so to speak. Changed my aim...missed my shots!!
I should have kept to the natural rythm I had in the beginning.
So thats what I thought of sitting in the car in a traffic jam. I think I am right.
