Good auto Shot gun for trap and skeet

I am not an expert target shooter by any means but the Gold, 391 and 1100 seem to dominate the field. I have owned a Gold and an 1100 I liked them, I loved the feel of the 391.

Right now I use a Baikal MP-153 I have yet to take it to the range but in the field, to me it is a better gun, not as pretty but better.

Very nice choice! Now go out and rock the high house! and I appologize ahead of time if I screw up the quote tags:evil:

Have fun:)

Just bought AL391 Urika Skeet.
Still itching to shoot it...
Sure feels nice.
Sure looks sweet.

Sunday - Vancouver Gun Club pending weather conditions......

had my Teknys out today for some 5-stand.
Never did it before...never did any shot-gunnin' before.

I started off good... I believe to first 8 were dust :)

But the cold started to set in and I was over thinking....I only hit about 6 after that great start.... LOL......

I figured out the problem on the way home. Lots of time to think stuck on hwy 400 for 45minutes!!!

When I started to shoot...I would track the 'bird', follow through and squeeze..."poof", dust :) Did that quite a few times in a row.
I really enjoyed the encouragement from my fellow shooters.

But I never saw myself break any 'birds'....sighting down the barrel, I would lose sight of the 'bird' as I lead it and aimed a bit high, the barrel hid the 'bird' as I 'blew it to pieces'......this is where I made my error.

I wanted to see the 'birds' turn into dust....I changed my sight line ever so little so i had a better view of the 'bird' as I anticipated it to 'blow-up'. Instead of looking down the barrel, I started to look over it:(

That is of course when I started missing alot. I wanted to see what was happening, I lost focus so to speak. Changed my aim...missed my shots!!
I should have kept to the natural rythm I had in the beginning.

So thats what I thought of sitting in the car in a traffic jam. I think I am right.

OK men, I'm getting back into trap. I've shot for a few years and took a break but now it's time to break clays. I had 2 different Citori's, even shot an old Remington 'dirty two hundred' I mean 3200 and eventually stuck with a Rem 11-87 Premier trap Left Hand. I loved the 11-87 and the fact that it had a little metal deflector on the roof of the port that caused the shell to eject forward and not hit the guy beside me.

Now I'm very very interested in the AL391 and have handled a few in the gun shops. Does it eject straight sideways? I'd hate to use it for doubles and keep distracting my squad mate that has to shoot next.
