Dominion Powders Now Available

4350 in 6.5 x 55 and 7 x 57 for years. I got away from rifle shooting for a while, but got the itch again. As I mentioned, the D4350 granules seemed to be more consistently sized than the H4350 I had; looking at your photo, it looks like it may have a bigger void in the centre, which might explain it's bulkyness. I can live with bulky; I generally found that most rifles like to run accurate with a moderately fast powder with slightly compressed loads. I would have to look and see what powder I used to use in .223, but the most accurate load was an almost full case, heavily compressed.

So, you weren't comparing 4064 of any kind! Not really apples to apples eh?

Thanks for all the freebies on my last order....Free quality pocket tactical folding knife,a big stack of targets and 4 magazines, and 4 canad ammo stickers!!

You guys rock..

I am in for 7828ssc any day. It will be great to have a slower option that is actually available. Getting H1000 or Retumbo is an adventure.

Ran some ladders on the weekend with D4350 in my 6.5x55 Tikka Varmint. Really impressed with this stuff! Most groups were 0.5-1” with a couple notable exceptions. Spreads were the best I’ve ever produced, single digits sometimes.
I hope this stuff isn’t too temp sensitive...

I was really happy with this 0.317” group, spread 9, St dev 4.9, 3 shots, 100m

Then this happened next. 0.059” group, spread 12, St dev 8.5, 3 shots, 100m

I am curious about the D2495 with 223 and 308s. Thanks

If you try some let me know, I was going to pick some up but was reading it is basically 4895 which sounds fine for 223 but also read bridges and meters poorly. I would get for plinking rounds and wouldnt want to have to weigh and trickle every load. I could be mistaken as I am fairly new to reloading 223. A couple weeks ago all they had was 5477 so picked up 5lbs of that and will hopefully test out on days off.

My new Zastava 6.5 x 55 is not shooting quite that good, but ground hog season is here, and I have yet to bed the action. Regardless, under an inch with 95g V-Max with 47 gr. of D4350. It is more bulky than H4395, but shoots more consistently. No easier to meter.

Would love to hear feedback on anyone who has tested the D2495. Looking for feedback on it before I buy, since D4895ssc is also available and seems in line with my 308 needs. Trying to sway myself before I buy 10lbs.

Probably should just buy both!
