Pretty happy with everything. The gun ran really well with some EWG on the contact points in the receiver and some lube in the carrier. No real complaints about fit/finish. With no optic and an empty cross mag it’s just under 6 pounds.
Sometimes, if you have nothing good to say, then say nothing at all… maybeIt kind of feels like these really are not selling in any numbers (based on how many posts I see about them).
They are of course new to the market, but I would expect based on previous new rifle releases for there to be more posts about them.
Am I wrong?

Or having a hard time sourcing parts?I think many people are waiting for the complete rifles.

Jard has a long history of making garbage. This is not their first rodeo.
They have a lot of ground to make up before people trust them again.
Tbf the use of screws through the side of the receiver to prevent over insertion of magazines (I think) while literally functional didn't exactly inspire....confidence

Wikipedia said:A further disadvantage of direct impingement is that combustion gases heat the bolt and bolt carrier as the firearm operates. This heating causes essential lubricant to be "burned off". Lack of proper lubrication is the most common cause of weapon malfunctions. These combined factors reduce service life of these parts, reliability, and mean time between failures.

Small update: I had mine out for the second time over the weekend. I took it out in a monsoon, and beat the piss out of it. ran a few different types of production ammo, mostly PMC bronze, PMC Xtac, Winchester white box and Frontier Ejection was strong and consistent. I ran a lot of ammo through it quickly getting the gun good and hot. I really enjoy the balance and weight of my build and I find the recoil impulse to be much more pleasant then my WK180. Currently this is the only gun in my safe that feels and handles like the AR’s I have on house arrest.
I had a friend try it out as well and he seemed pretty impressed with the overall handling and reliable function of the rifle. I will be buying another builders kit in the near future as this rifle has far exceeded my initially skeptical expectations.

Build details:
-20" government profile barrel
-A2 front sight block and flash hider
-M4 style adjustable stock
-Elcan C79 optic
-stock Jard trigger
Range report:
Fired about 150 rounds of American eagle 55gr fmj and the first 3 or 4 mags had stoppages, but it cleared up quickly and ran more or less flawlessly after that.
I lubed lightly, dry cycled/fired and wiped off excess.
It's a bit chilly today so lube might have a detrimental effect on reliability
I didn't test for accuracy, that'll be a later trip. Obviously I'll have to switch the optic for that since the Elcan isn't the most precise optic out there.
Surprisingly, the stock trigger is pretty good. At least, better than milspec anyway, so I kept it.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the rifle and once wolverine has another 2 gun match I'm probably going to head over and see how it handles that.
Glad to see more of these are out in the wild, there must now be DOZENS.
