What is the build quality over a gsg-16? I mean the Gsg-16 almost feels like a BB gun. Doe's it has the same type of cheap plastic or is it more solid. Biggest downer is the 10 round mag. I like plinking with my 22's because of higher capacity mag and it is a workaround our canadian law

Its the same plastic as a centrefire Kriss. The manipulation of the charging handle feels like a .22 but that should be expected. Weight is a little lighter due to the bolt and barrel being for a .22.

The plastic is SOLID. I was surprised how nice it feels, and it's actually kind of heavy. I think some of the plastic is over molded metal, I could be wrong though. This is the Gen 2 9mm I am comparing FYI, definitely not a GSG that's for sure.

Is this compatible with other KRISS lowers?
I'm wondering if this is the standard KRISS upper with a .22lr lower or if it's it's own product.

Not compatible with the centrefire lowers.

The reason why 30 round magazines are not available is because another importer submitted a Kriss .22 as a pistol to the RCMP for FRT#.
