SOLD OUT: TYPE 81 SPECIAL EDITION -Shipment 2-

You all bought the 'Special Edition'.....

The SE LMG have an excellent finish. LMG is clearly undervalued in that regard.

Consumers want low prices - here you have them, hahaha.

"Made in China" - they can do both, high end and low end. Actually, as you can see, it is not the Chinese's fault. Willing to pay $200 more for an excellent finish?

As TI pointed out, his margins are not that big. And you can't compare them to the Russian SKS finish, those would actually cost more if manufactured new.

So… is this horrid wood work common? Most of the pictures I see don’t look like this.

I wasn’t expecting much but, better than that. Should have bought two…

Any squeaky noise in your handguards?

It’s ok, nothing to be worried about, just had an actual asian bird feather stuck in my cleaning kit… nothing to be alarmed about. It certainly probably didn’t have some sort of bird flu. Hahaha. I also had some poor woodwork, but overall my first impression is it seems not bad, got what I was looking for.

Haha. This is the best post I have seen in a while. And the Chinese government just warned their people of possible contamination in letters from Canada….look on the bright side… could have been a bat wing :Slavex:

Just got a call from Canada Post. Package flagged for not following shipping guidelines. I am guessing that a cardboard box no longer makes the cut to ship firearms in this country.

I have reached out to Tactical Imports and left a voicemail with this concern. Luckily for me, they are holding it at the depot and allowing me to pick it up.

I just had a similar call with CP. It sounded like if I wasn't located in Edmonton, they'd be shipping it back to Ontario for repackaging - He mentioned a hard case. Also, my order still says "Order Processing"

According to Canada Post website cardboard box should be fine so long as there are no markings indicating it's a firearm. Seems odd.

I just got an email reply, I had two separate order, one was 13701, which arrived last week. The second is 14192, that's still being process. If you have any worries about receiving your gun, please be patient, they have lots to get thru, they're doing their best. Also if you order spare mags, my came in a separate parcel, they didn't forget about it. This is my first purchase with TI and I'm very pleased with their communication and handling of things.

I just picked mine up. Its in a standard cardboard box with no indication of its contents. The guy I spoke to said he had 6 more in his office but one of the boxes was damaged and they could clearly see it was a firearm. It would seem they pulled all similar boxes from mail delivery.
