Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Depressing thing is very soon it wont matter. They started talking about gun control again which means here comes the buy back of AR-15s and the banning of handguns. I absolutley hate Liberals. They are nothing but liars. The yare not the same Liberals of 20+ years ago. They are FAR worse. Im just so upset that my guns will be taken because of lies and stupid brainwashed clueless citizens.

They are the same liberals as 20 years ago, they haven't changed but you know them better now.

I called that -4000 number this morning and they told me it's completed and the notification has been emailed to me. But I didn't receive it. I verified email address with them and they said they would resend again and hours later I still don't have it. I know it won't be spammed because I have received many emails from them in the past.
And the business told me they won't hand over the pistol unless they see the buyer's notification even though they have the seller's notification.
Man, that's frustrating.

me? The 2/15 transfer has already been approved. I just didn't get the buyer's notification in email.
Today I just got that paper transfer notification in mail. I am going to the store to pick it up.

Usually I found in Ontario business to private transfer takes exactly 2 weeks. If you still don't have it tomorrow, I suggest you call them to find out.
 
February 23, business to private, still have not heard anything by March 14. Also bought from private and specifically asked for the email, but that was only a week ago. I'm in Ontario.
 
Started a ON->BC transfer February 15, we are still waiting. Does anyone know if there a formal complaint process, I have only been able to find filing a formal complaint against RCMP members, but not about government services? The level of incompetence is beyond belief, the process as stated is 5-10 business days, not 6-8 weeks.

ON-->ON private sale, called in March 8 for the transfer. Still waiting as of now.
Just called Orillia, they said they are currently working on 3/3 and 3/4 transfer...

I called today again and March 8’s transfer is still under review and being processed.
The agent who answered the phone blamed the sportsman show last week in Toronto where too many bought pistols.

I called April 1st for a private case initiated on March 8th same day as yours. The agent answered phone said it’s processing March 10 now, so she assigned my case to a firearm officer immediately and 2 minutes later I got email saying it’s done.
I found that private transfer is way slower than business transfer, and often time they are messy and overlooked
