Just order from the "other importer" if they still have stock. NS never advertised the 14" Barrel "Rifle" configuration, so you'll likely have to look elsewhere anyhow. I got my 14" Bren 2 from. that other Importer 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been enjoying the heck out of it ever since. You are wasting time when you could be shooting!

Doubt the north Sylvia imports will ever get here. They seem to have updated their thread and changed pricing and availability.

IRG has had them all along. I got my 14" Bren 2 just over a month ago and have enjoyed 4 flawless trips to the Range thus far. I have fired a little over 500 rds without incident. Their pricing is on par with NS, so what's holding you back??
 
Because they did not bring them in trough the “official” distributor. ��

Doubt north sylva will get them any time soon. It seems the rdsc are from the USA.

It's not exactly clear how you buy from IRG... the Canadian site has nothing. The US sight only has guns without a stock. What did you buy and from whom?

Probably not at all considering how vocal they have been against any Canadians purchasing grey market imports of product lines they are the Canadian distributor for.

The IRG purchasing process was as simple as clicking on a link in their original CGN advertisement for the Bren 2 "Pistols", plus optional CZ factory Buttstock. It totalled out to just around $3K with the Buttstock once the exchange rate was factored in. IRG is currently out of Factory CZ Buttztocks, so you'd just have to add an empty Buffer Tube and AR Buttstock of choice, together with the provided Pistol Brace Adapter Block. Then, when CZ Buttstocks are back in stick for $300 USD, you buy one of those and swap it out.

There is no "mystery" to ordering from IRG if you simply follow their directions for Canadian purchase of a CZ USA Bren 2 "pistol". You pay for the firearm plus a $25 import fee, plus GST and Shipping. IRG then delivers the "pistol" (really just a rifle without Buttstock, but with a Buffer Tube Adapter) right to your door. The delivery timeline for the initial batch of IRG Bren 2s was approximately 3 weeks.

Read the IRG website - the process is very simple and you won't be left hanging. Just be sure to order the correct Barrel length that you want - 8", 11", or 14" (with Bayonet Lug).
