Seriously, the more people that come out the better.We already know that Alberta has some top notch shooters because some of them have been coming out here for years...............:)

I really hope this doesn't turn into a BC vs AB think. We might get crazy exposure to the media for this but I kind of like it the way it was last year. It sounds like there will be a bunch of vehicles going this year so for the guys that are driving from AB, we should start planning now to make sure we've got people with rides and people that don't, have a ride. Anyone that plans on making it this year, send me a PM and I'll start keeping track of just who has vehicles and who doesn't.

This is just the usual pre-match piss taking..............;) :p

There is no BC Vs Alberta thing....................I enjoy seeing the regulars (like Savage , 7.62 FNG, HeadDamage, and a couple others) who come out every year to shoot and hang out with us.:)

And since last it year, there seems to be more great guys coming out to shoot....................This in turns helps us justify the match to the BCRA and keeps it going...................not enough people attending, then the match gets the axe.................

When my kids are older and I ahve more free time, I hope to be able to reciprocate and make some of the Alberta shoots.................:D

We will keep working at it. I'm pretty confident within the next three years we will be the premier match in the BCRA's schedule. We just have to work together and take care of business for the benefit of us all.
 
I can't resist. LRC thinks I'm a pussy for play'n FORZA 2 all the time instead of first person shooters. Actually, truth be told, it's about 60/40 split but it's games like this that keep me working the crazy hours I do during the long winter months while it sits in the garage. My baby turned 10 years old in January with 48,000kms on the clock. I've got to save up for a suspension or wheels we'll see.

Nice car and colour.

If I may, adj shock (tokico or KYB), urethane bushings and a larger sway bar (front and/or rear - whatever balance you want). Strut tower bushings/brace and possible eccentric/adj strut tower mounts if you can't get the wheel alignment adj enough.

If any money left over, better tires:D;)

Wheels don't make you go fast. Factory ones look good and strong.

Jerry, how is it you know so much. I swear you were put on this earth to learn everything and pass your knowledge on to others at no charge.
This car has been done up a little more then it looks from the outside. It's already got upper and lower sway bars front and back, Stop Tech big break kit up front with braded lines, short shift kit, M50 intake manifold, cams, software, exhaust, fan delete, thermistate and ram air. I took this pic while I had winter tires on it. I've got a set of Pilots 245ZR17 which stick OK but without traction control, it tends to kick out a little. I'm thinking suspension will cure that but feedback would be nice.

As for taking it to the BCRA match, not a chance. I'll be riding in style above the road as a passenger in an domestic oil burner. My tendency to produce a better track time on the highway might get me in trouble so I'm wuss'n out.

BC, isn't there something ellegal about shooting up a German made car. I thought we reserved that for Domestics. I wish I could find that picture of my old Chevette. Riddled would have been an understatement.

With a 1:10 twist, 21 3/4" Rock Creek barrel, this gun is amazingly balanced. I equipped it with an 8-32x56 NPR1. I figured more power is always better anyways, I just had to shoot it before it goes out for paint. I was testing 175gr and 190gr SMK with varget and BLC-2. Overall bullet length was set for AI mags and found no signs of pressure with the 175gr and Varget at 45.5gr with a velocity of 2893fps. I didn't crono the 190gr with BLC-2 but at 45gr there was no pressure either.
