Who cares about the pricing!? IF WE CAN'T EVEN GET THEM RE-CLASSIFIED, NONE OF THIS MATTERS.

What the hell is the status with the re-classification request? That's all we need to focus on at the moment: get the RCMP to move on this.

Have some faith - Redleg said they are working on it and I seriously doubt TSE would be the party holding the process up by sitting on required paper work.

The rifle was placed on the prohib list and the RCMP will examine it and possibly re-classify it in their own sweet time. In the absence of a promise by the RCMP to reach a decision by a certain date, what kind of update do you expect Redleg to share with us? What kind of pressure do you expect TSE (or anybody) to bring down on the CFC to get them moving on this? I'm sure Redleg will update this thread when he has information worth sharing.

There, now that I've become a TSE cheerleader, I should qualify for a 1% discount on my next TSE purchase. :D

How about 600 "Freedom of Information Requests" to obtain documents regarding the evaluation of this firearm and how they came to their decision to classify it as prohibited. Phone calls directly to the forensics lab itself should get someone off their ass.

I'm alright with that. Is someone willing to organize the campaign?

Why does anyone need to organize a campaign?

You can reach the technical branch located in Ottawa at 1.800.731.4000 ext. #1090 . Call and ask questions if you really want to know. I'm sure they'll be glad to help!

Awesome news guys! These rifles just got reclassified as non-rest and are gonna be on dealer floors within 3 weeks for no more than $600 a pop!!!

lol..

still looks like a bunch of potmetal and wood screws.

I was just thinking the same thing.... the receiver looks like it is designed to have a 'nut' holding it together. BUT it is just screwed into the receiver - is the receiver threaded? why leave/design room for a nut and not use one?

Also, why wouldnt they use a black wood screw? the aluminum screws look .... not very strong....

Matt_P you Fu@&er!! :stirthepot2::eek::runaway:

I was seconds away from emailing the supplier and demanding how far down the list I am to see if I was gonna get one on the first batch.:cool:
