Extremely long wait times for transfers certainly doesn't seem to be slowing sales - obviously there are both commercial and private transfers in this number, but guns are still in the process of changing hands at unprecedented rates; I have 60004xx which was initiated on Aug 17 and in the three weeks between then and yours today, over 25000 transfers have been initiated.

That is so unlikely as to be laughable. Provinces fund their own cfo's. If one province has excess capacity, they would downsize before helping Onterrible.

Money is money no matter what province it comes from. Dealers get your money to pay for storage.

Yes and they’ll have them interviewed, vetted, security cleared, trained and ready to process transfers by 2024. It a government organization after all so efficiency is not a requirement…

Private to private is a different queue but still, I have private to private ones that are prior to yours, from other provinces to ontario.

Wow. 30 calendar days. Congrats. I also had a fluke approval AB P2P ON initiated June 20th with an August 26 approval so 67 calendar days. I am waiting on another purchase that same day but it was through a dealer so I will have to wait until next March for it and next June and July for my other two. I bought a lottery ticket that day but it was bust.
