I'm so tired of this. Purchased June 1. Dealer didn't initiate till July 7th. We will be waiting forever. So lame. And my second gun I bought at end of August I don't even want to think about when that will ever get approved.
July 7th or June 7th? Cause if it was July 7th after you purchased it on June 1st - HOLY CRAP.......what the he!! were they waiting for??????
I purchased one on June 7th that didn't initiate until August 8th! And when I gave the store a 'WTF' I was sorely scolded.

My purchase on June 3rd 59048xx Business in BC to me in ON hasn't been completed yet.
Same with a friend ordering from the same shop and his was initiated on June 2.
I think they're randomly grabbing through the pile to fudge the numbers. Said friend says it's unlikely they were aware of us being able to track them, so they're making things look better after they became aware at TACCOM.
I've never received email confirmations for transfers, so it's possible the retailer just hasn't shipped them yet or something.
If they continue to process at the rate we have seen over the last week we could see a purchase made today get approved in May 2023.
From July 27 to Sept 9 they were averaging 234 reference numbers per day (that includes weekends), 1638 a week.
From Sept 10 to Sept 16 they have averaged 586 reference numbers per day, 4102 per week. This is skewed by the Saturday and Sunday overtime, but that doesn't explain all of it.
I was wondering if there is some background noise here. AFAIK transfers from importer to business use the same reference numbers which get approved right away. Please correct me if I am wrong about this. It is possible that a case of guns just needs a single reference number. Maybe a retailer can chime in here.
Since those numbers are already completed we would see an acceleration through certain parts of the reference # range.
I'm assuming by the 3rd and 4th gun stores were starting to order from the importers in significant numbers. A lot of the first few days were moving guns out the door to individuals that would require the Ontario CFO to process.
Trying to figure out if what we are seeing here is sustainable or a flash in the pan.

Ordered June 1 #5906###. Business to individual. I suspect that the company might not have started the transaction till several days later as I see some members here who ordered June 2 or 3 but whose reference number appear to be before mine. Hmmmmmm?
Just found this thread, I am now depressed.
