Still have only heard one side of the story. Its funny how things change when both parties are heard.
Really!!! Tenda does this all the time... That is why they are the last place to buy something from them as far as I'm concerned...

Interesting topic, honestly.
Tenda is in the wrong. You paid for an item and they accepted your money. They should eat any loss after this transaction and that should be the end of it.
However. 15$? I'd have paid it and never dealt with them again. Assuming you make 45 bucks an hour, it's 20 minutes of your time. You've spoken to the CFO several times as mentioned, sent many emails and now have posted this thread with additional comments.
Time = money. You're wasting your time, and therefore money. You would have been better off paying the 15$ and working the several hours you've dumped into this. In fact, youd have more money in one hand and a gun in the other (the dream baby!)
I do wish Tenda would reply, this is a good one.
Serious question for the crowd saying "it's just $15, pay it and move on"... at what threshold would you suggest OP stands his ground and does not just give in? $25? $50? $100? Tenda would never initiate a transfer until a customer pays in full. So at what point is it considered paid in full?
I’m with the OP 100% and applaud him for holding out this far but I think now’s the time to pay the extra $ and then bad mouth the s*it out of Tenda.
Hopefully Tenda will suffer because of this but that’s very doubtful as if doing something despicable like JR in Calgary did by trying to throw a competitor under the bus and in the process threw the whole firearms community under the bus and got away with it. JR should have be run out of town over that but he weasled his way out of it somehow and unfortunately we, as gun owners have poor memories…
Wow, I feel like there's so much overreacting.
Reading Tenda's terms and conditions for shipping https://www.gotenda.com/terms-and-conditions/, it says that they cannot shipt restricted firearms by UPS. So maybe they are forced to switch to CP.
And before you reply that you got other firearms shipped by UPS, my experience with UPS and other courrier like CANPAR, is that every courrier counter/store seems to interpret the rule differently. I've had situation where the particular UPS store nearest me refuse to ship something but when I go to another one like 1km away, they take it no question asked.
OP,
You may be right in *principle* but look at the situation with open eyes: limited stock nationally and a pending freeze to future transfers. It’s already been transferred to you legally. Pay the $15 and don’t deal with them again.
Honest question: for such a small sum of money was it worth your time but more importantly your energy/effort to create and respond to such a thread. Save your mind all that mental wear and tear. Pay and enjoy. Be grateful you managed to add another HG to your collection.
Restricted firearms cannot be ship by UPS, it's not a new thing. If I remember correctly it's been like that for almost a year.
Actually all the firearms (restricted or non-restricted) are shipped by CanadaPost, at least it's my case.
Tenda knew this before the order was put in, and they still allowed OP to select UPS as shipping method. Whose fault is that?
So it’s even more Tenda’s ##### up. OP should definitely not have to pay for that.
