Curious what your running in your bolt action CZ and zastava rifles chambered in 7.62x39?
Have a LKM 85 and was thinking of hunting with it this fall.

Woodliegh 130 gr. Soft point, Imr 4198. Haven't concluded testing. Will try hunting with it next hunting season.
I don't expect that much out of the round... kinda like a thurty thurty. Hence I just went with a good red dot... let's face it...it's shot it's wad at 200 paces...red dot is a good fit for a 200 yd gun.
I have acquired a good variety of fodder for it though...Igman sealed packs of 100 rds...a boat load of Wolf, some of it is pretty heavy, maybe 200 grains.
Mine is an 1891 with rechambered Lee Enfield bbl...can't really mount decent glass because of the split bridge though.
Sounds like a cool rifle!
My idea is to mount a peep sight and use it a a bush gun. It's nice and light so easy to carry.
PRVI 123 grain soft points seem to still be somewhat affordable in factory loaded ammo. I have also been very impressed with the Hornady SST's in this caliber.
this was when i tested them @50How's the accuracy with the handloads from the SKS?
Dang that is so promising otherwise! I wonder if it is always the same one in the group? I mean, it sucks but...if its #4 or #5 then the 3 shot groups would be sweet
Wonder if thats a bedding/stock fit issue or what.
My Garand will do that as well. Always one way outside the group. Apparently pretty well known as a thing. First round, I believe.
