Rumors of a Spring Election

step one: Convince your drunk uncle to stop splitting the vote by voting ppc.

I don't care how much you think the cpc is lib lite, the ppc will never form government in today's canada.

Hold your nose and vote for pp - it's the only way we take down trudeau.

No thanks, I'd rather not vote for a WEF stooge. Max was in the streets with the people and even arrested by horseback goons for standing up and speaking up against the tyranny, where was Pi'erre? If PP really is the most popular and viable candidate then who cares what the fringe PPC "whackjobs" vote for?

Bernier is a loud mouth idiot, spewing any bulsh&^t he can to drum up to get support of the less than rocket scientist group.if you beleive anything that idiot has to say,you ARe part of the problem,Bernier never got anywhere and never will.his speeches sound more like a certain WW2 person, the best Bernier could hope for, would be to talk with PP and together come up with a good strategy to destroy Turdo, but by himslef Bernier will just continue with the same, for him it's all about trying to hurt the CPC for blowing him off, like a spoiled little brat who got his toy taken away,

I'd almost hate to be the party that has to inherit crippling debt, a looming recession and a divided country. Sounds like a dream for the sitting government that is facing the prospect of figuring out how to deliver gun control, UBI, $10 daycare and all the other goodies promised in our current situation.

The gun wedge is deployed very skilfully by the Liberals to deflect from their failings. They just plug up their bought MSM election news pipeline with "the gun debate".

Question period yesterday was incandescent when PP asked Trudeau about his plans for guns. The CPC know that their party is vulnerable on this file and we refuse to give them any political currency to fight for us.
If I were to state that our problem is that we are polluted by a bunch of whining, unimaginative, defeatist, politically impotent malcontents I'd probably miss a couple of adjectives

And you would be closer to the truth of the mater

Anyone who watched Bobbi Ann Brady stand up in the Ontario Legislature and diss the Liberal gun plan should be contacting her with a show of support. I did.

The horse I'm riding will someday come to life here in Canada when the results of the third way become glaringly obvious in the USA. Already it has resulted in the failure of the antis to get an AR ban after all of the mass murders of the past few years.

AR 15 is extremely popular down south, the numbers are growing and a lot of that growth in the last few years has been on the left, it's a completely different culture down there and backed by the Supreme court and the constitution.

It takes about ten years for something to catch on in Canada after it becomes common place in the USA; we're in year 7. But at the rate we're going it will be too late and this site will be filled with shoulda, woulda, coulda.

I agree we are 10 years behind generally , but I think with more people plugged in online, that gap might be narrowing, hence the reason the Liberals want to block information that runs counter to their bought and paid for narrative....

One thing distinguishes my attitude and posts - I haven't given up trying even after 50+ years of this anti gun sh!t.

You are persistently consistent I will give you that, and I know you are engaged beyond CGN which is way more then most people here do.

Scout, I hope the Liberals do try and fear monger around guns, Fear mongering and the same old same old, needs to be callled out! The WEF "Great Reset" is correct in that we need a great reset to go along with a rapidly approaching functioning hi level AI systems.... 5-10 years is the timeline for almost unimaginable change and yet people are arguing about Co2, pronouns and Colonialism?

I think Pierre has a great chance of cutting through the typical political BS and broaching the real issues, plus the Liberal record of failure is as consistent as your idea about saving AR's in Canada by convincing average "folk" that we are good people.

If we can't convince half the voters that Freedom is not Freedumb right now..... how are we going to convince them that Good people deserve AR's?

bill c-11- censoring the internet bill. gonna pass

bill-18 another bill involving censoring the internet.

both of these are gonna pass through the senate with no problems. no body gives a #### about freedoms in canada its going to get worse and stay worse no point in fighting the kings army. they will always win.

leaving north america would be the best bet

The Conservatives need to vett and select the appropriate candidates. Labour and business friendly, bridge that gap. Those who don't share extremist views on either end of the spectrum, those who advocate on sensible, boring, governance. Fu<k the gong show sh1t.

To go where? Saudi Arabia? France? Britain? Knucklehead.

Sadly Trudeau and his Liberals will likely get a majority next election, for one thing many Canadians keep splitting the vote with the PPC, and second Danielle Smith is going to drive many voters away from the CPC. We might as well face it, we are pooched. To think otherwise is just being naïve.

You are dead wrong.

Historically the fringe parties were highly subsidized by the borderline leading party to split the "similar" ( conservative ideas) so no Conservative party would be elected. Bernier was allegedly supported by Saputo, globalists, who obviously hopped onto the defeated party leader candidate Max Bernier, showering him with funds to develop a parallel Conservative party; split the vote so the angry and frustrated conservative voters increased the distance between themselves and someone who had a chance to be elected to defeat the Liberals. Their (PPC) agenda is to get rid of Supply Management which will be another blow to farmers in all categories. They can't compete with slave labor in other countries who work to bring various products to the kitchen table. They will all be out of business. Trudeau is increasing the costs for formers, reducing fertilizer availability, carbon taxing every imaginable product based on its theoretical carbon footprint from the first instance of production. It's all a fairy tale with no connection to common sense. IN May 2023 there will be a ratification vote at a summit to ratify the WHO treaty and signatories ( Justin broke the sound barrier to get in line to sign away our health and freedom autonomy) and this will allow the WHO to dictate to all Canadians such things as restricted travel, lockdowns for the next scheduled pandemic, mandate vaccines, more masks, .... oh well, you get the idea! Trudeau can then say it wasn't his decision to dump these restrictions on the citizens. Trudeau loves being a dictator who will control everything you want to purchase when the digital exchange is finally established in full force in Canada. He already has practiced his domestic terrorism on the Trucker Freedom Convoy through financial totalitarianism. Vote CPC is the only was to get rid of him and volunteer to be an observer at the election centres. The fringe parties have to realize they are wasting a vote, even though it is their right! Just don't complain if they don't strategize their vote....

no need to get wordy sir. im a second gen canadian, both grandparents are from italy, they left in the 40s
by descent i can achieve full Citizenship. They recently elected a pretty good government seems like they're heading in a good direction. I'm willing to endure The challenge of being an Immigrant. Over there they have an identity compared to here where there's no identity it's wherever the wind blows. but thats my opinion

Also sportshooting is very popular and They can buy handguns which will never come back here

how are you going to fight or vote against that, when theyll have complete control

You're right, 'cause we got too many stupid Canadians who are allowed to vote.

Canadians? Ha, if they are voting for the Turd they aren’t ####ing Canadian in my books. Any one who lives in the country and hasn’t served shouldn’t even be allowed to vote as far as I’m concerned and no I didn’t serve. So I’d be on that list too, but I bet the country would be in a better place if that was the case. Not just politically either but militarily and economically. This country is going to hell folks.

I spend hours reading links to what the US alliance is doing and it is growing faster and becoming more influential by the day; far outstripping the rate of individual AR ownership IMHO (no numbers to back me up).

"Something" happened in the corridors of power to make Biden back down from his solemn promise to ban and it appears that a political swap for elements of the efforts by the gun lobby / suicide alliance were exchanged in lieu of another ineffective ban. The conversation has changed albeit glacially, but with police services and government departments working directly with that alliance there appears to be an awakening of the correct kind.

We'll see if anything changes in the next two years with the Dems feeling their oats.

As an aside, I have received assurances from a political figure that the idea of alliances here in Canada "has been discussed with certain gun orgs" and I am trying to confirm that it has in fact taken place and what the outcome will be??? My disappointment with the three main orgs will be deepened if this is happening and we never find out out the final decisions on this opportunity of a lifetime.
