Henry's PCC -yes it takes glock mags

Taking on Ruger...not sure how they'll fair unless they bring something else to the table.

I'd look at one if they brought out other calibers like 45acp and 10mm

I'm interested in all things Henry, this included. The wood furniture might be a good thing for us since the gen-pop Libbys don't generally equate wood with assault style. Trudummy and Marco, on the other hand, will be pissed and for that reason alone I love it!

Exactly,
how is this different from a ruger?

It needs to be better or cheaper or have feature that ruger doesn't offer (like unique caliber)

Just because its wood wont get it under the C-21 radar

It's different because its a Henry, among other obvious aesthetic differences. Hard to say at this point if its better or not, that will be open for discussion after enough people have had trigger time with one.
As for c21 radar, the Ruger no 1 was on the list so nothing is safe. I'm a realist just having some fun at the expense of the misguided Libtards who creep this site. Wood is good. all black is bad.

I have two Henry's myself, but they need to offer innovation if they are going to come late to the party and expect to be noticed.

Ruger didn't give a flying F about the 25 round magazine ban in Canada on 10/22's.... all they had to do was label them as meant for 10/22 and not for ruger charger and it would've ended it... but they stayed silet because they just didn't give a crap about Canadians.

I have a ruger pcc and would rather have supported Henry. Henry stands up for Canadians, you did see the truckers tribute rifle they made?

Honestly, I like the look. Not just the wood, but how the mag well is basically flush with the bottom of the receiver, not sticking out below like the Ruger PC Carbine.

I like the modern 9 mm carbines as well, but this has a distinctly old fashioned look and some people, like me, are a sucker for that.

lmfao you think that would have settled things? Or do you just not know the timeline? Ruger 25rd mags have always been banned, the charger predates them by like 4 years. If you feel the need to be pissed at anyone other than the RCMP then its Butler Creek you've got beef with, not Ruger.

Also Butler Creek's packaging makes no mention of the charger, yet they still banned them...

Ruger made NR barrel length PCCs, so clearly they care to some degree...

I like the look of the Henry, but unless we get a change of government in the next year this will be banned before we can even get our hands on 'em. While wood furniture may be more appealing to the anti's than black plastic, its still not going to get around the "Centerfire semi auto with detachable magazines" definition the Liberals are looking to make law.

I think it’s got potential. Henry seems to build things with quality in mind. A 30 round glock magazine or drum and you get that Thompson ish feeling , maybe. Agree it would be nice in other calibers… maybe they will come.

Yeah they should also make it in 44 magnum, with a non scary 5 round magazine, and in stainless steel.
The 9mm crowd has enough choices, and I wouldn't even consider one to hunt with, but a 44 magnum would get a lot of attention.

These better get to Canada ASAP, I'll definitely be buying one, darn near 3/4 of the way to a future Tommy gun style build with the magpul PCC drums would look sweet!
