What is your most recent hunting rig purchase.

You and me both!
This one has been creeping up the bucket list of late...

And then I found a unicorn...LH Steyr Mannlicher Model M full stock rifle in 270 Win...6 3/4 lbs, single trigger with open sights! So guess what's coming home first!

The offending 1A .257 Bob. .25s are problematic for me.

You've just sent pre-64 gurus into epileptic shock my friend,
I have 2 Mirokus in 44 mag and 30-30
Superb Quality. Imho you will find they increase in value better then pre-64s.
The age of leverguns is going away I think. I hope not.
When they stop making these great rifles these will triple.
In fact, I'd say they are the best ever produced. Yes I have pre-64s.
Enjoy.

I'm just biding time until I can get my hands on an 1892 Short Rifle in 44 Mag. I check dealer stock pretty much daily. Just missed one in December.

Bought a husqvarna 1640 in 6.5x55 from intersurplus. Put an old fixed 4x redfield on it. Love it. Have some 100grn pills loaded behind 40.5 grains of 4064 for coyotes.

Working on some 130 grain loads for deer.

I've been on a big Winchester run lately - This year alone I've picked up a 100 and 4 70's; a 6.5x55, a .270, a .223 HVR and a .30-06 on the way. Picked up a really nice 700 ADL in .243, as well.
