Thank you for the response and hard work, we all appreciate the hard work you’ve done getting us non-restricted Bren2s.

I would be 1000% happy to get in on an order for OEM handguards and iron sights if possible (as would a few of my friends), but either way I am thankful for what I am getting in these frustrating times.

Thanks to Marstar and Dlask, I look forward to picking up my rifle.

Anywhere to source a 10.8" hbi handguard in Canada aside from they that shall not be named?

Thinking it's the most versatile option that's compatible with both barrel lengths in order to just have a single handguard. Longest length that works with the 11", while not being quite as strange looking as the factory short with the nr barrel. That combo with the fake can in Brian46's pic looks pretty sweet too.

Am I correct in assuming a gunsmith is required for barrel swap if reverting back to restricted length in the future or is it fairly simple? Haven't found much info online about this.

Any update on the barrel production? I know it’s only 2 weeks but it fell like 2 months lol. Is DLASK waiting for all barrels to be ready then start the conversion or they come in batches and the conversion is possibly already started? Meaning some lucky ones are getting their very soon?
 
This might be a longshot, but is there anybody out there that reserved a 16” conversion, but would prefer an 11” with the flip-up sights and euro handguard? I would like to trade my 11” conversion for it in the off-chance someone would like to swap and could even add something of value to make trade more worthwhile..
 
Factory 11" barrel model with short handguard after 18.6" barrel swap .. for an idea what you're getting. He swaps the factory 11" barrel model handguard for the 13.8" HBI.
Some may find it helpful as I did.

The longest handguard one can choose is the 13.8" if you're starting with the 11" factory barrel/gas block, apparently due to cut-out. The 15.8" is a no go. Cost to swap would add about $500 in Canuck pesos I'm guessing, all in?

The barrels are being made and shipped to us in one large batch, sorry.

CZ Europe and CZ USA both indicate the thread is 1/2X28
