Now that we have time to process, any purchase regrets as far as money spent?

I regret buying a P320 and a Glock 21 during the handgun ban wave. I've had my doubts towards the P320 ever since the drop fire issue, but it was the only pistol in stock at the time I was buying, so I had nothing to lose. Around a couple months later I read news of more issues with the P320 line involving holster discharges, and they don't seem to be user-induced errors either - at least judging from the few video surveilled incidents involving cops. Gave me the heebie jeebies and I've essentially lost faith in the gun and the brand; plenty more polymer striker 9's that don't have this pedigree.
The Glock 21 is a good gun, but it's just too minimalistic for me. And this doesn't count for much but the first thing that went through my mind was that it felt like a blocky toy you buy from one of those big box stores. Sure as heck isn't one, but still. Picked it up still in lieu of a 1911 since the remaining ones were overpriced at the time. Lately I've been infatuated with 10mm guns so I should have held off on buying it instead of biding my time and waiting for Trudope to leave office and take his dumb bans with him, then picking up the gun of my dreams thereafter...

Fortunately , firearms generally take up little space , and cost nothing to keep if you aren't using them , and buying ammo . As the old saying goes , it is better to have the firearm and not need it , than to need the firearm , and not have it , or be able to buy it .

I just got the 10mm Glock 20 complete slide + all all lower parts from Irunguns - very slick!
It's a Glock, there is plenty that can be done to gussy in up. It's basically a blank canvas. And as others have said you can swap it to a 10mm.

Yeah, I had posted that before reading thru this thread. Surprisingly simple. In that case I regret not getting a 9mm Glock (17, 19?) as well so I could mod it. And not getting an M9A4 instead of an A3, had no idea they existed at the time
The A3 is a solid pistol and it will serve you well. As for the Glock, you should check out Black Box Customs. IF you are feeling spendy, you can have a really trick blaster in 10mm that is anything but minimalist.

The A3 is definitely a pistol I'd take to hell and back, it was just the lack of optics cuts/plate compatibility that saddened me. Then I read about the A4 and it had just that :^(
Sending the slide to LTT down south sounds like a pain, so I've resigned myself to just getting an optics plate you mount to the dovetail. Not ideal, but it'll get the job done. I'll check out Black Box for sure, thanks!

Well put. I wish I picked up a revolver and not so many striker fired pistols.
I had one take quite a while, but nothing like that. After a busy last couple of years, I have been at our local range having a blast... no pun intended.
If you are in BC, that shouldn't be the case. Even at the peak of the craziness, many folks in BC were calling the CFO directly and getting approvals fast-tracked to within a couple days from initiation. Call the CFP and connect to ext 9530.
I shot a .357 and a .460 today. Lots of fun.

Absolutely agree with this. At the height of my buying, I did sell 3 as well. Called in one morning with another transfer and the lady said I see you have 3 others pending and 2 more incoming, why don't I just approve all of those, do you have a pen handy for the numbers. It was like Christmas.
No regrets on what I sold, but regret not buying a 1911, and a few older revolvers I saw for sale. Regardless of what these morons do to us in the future, life is short, enjoy what you have while you can.
