Now that we have time to process, any purchase regrets as far as money spent?

Regrets are for losers that maybe should think before spending money they don't have.

Well that might not be the case at all. What i was getting at is maybe you bought (and could easily afford) 5 different gun brands that are very much the same type gun, all in the same caliber for a $1000 a piece. Now you cannot sell them, and because we naturally take a shine to one over another, are not likely to use all of them and for the most part, 3 or 4 of them they will sit forever in your safe unused.

Maybe you could have put that money towards a nice new ATV or boat motor that you would use. That is kind of what i was getting at.

As far as myself, I bought 3 different single action .22 revolvers, that are virtually the same gun. Now the price of them was under $300 a piece so not a problem as far as affordability but in reality eventually a couple of them are going to sit unused.

Regrets on a non purchase was not getting a decent higher caliber double action revolver, and thinking I could wait out for last minute price drop on the Beretta 92s surplus guns that were for sale at Elwood Epps, up to when the hammer dropped. Should hear bit the bullet and go one I think.
my only regret is one of the guns I bought might be lost in the mail - damnit.
Now the gun lost in the mail is one of my greatest fears. I had a couple parcels go missing never to be seen again before Christmas but all were IntelCom courier who seemed to be able to lose 50% of the parcels going through its crime city Thunder Bay depot and not Canada Post. So far they have been batting 100% on deliveries and timing. With the number of truck accidents happening through northern Ontario this winter ist is a wonder any parcels are getting through the country that have to travel that route.

Bought 2 CZ Shadow 2’s, a black OR and an urban grey iron sights with the intention of transferring the urban grey to my son when his RPAL came……and it didn’t come in time. At least I have a spare and he and my wife can use it as guests at the range.
Also bought a Shadow Systems DR920 Elite bronze threaded barrel. Not a big regret but wouldn’t have bought it without the ban. They are the only 3 firearms I have.

I picked up a bunch of last-minute prohibs at auction. Mostly S&W 1st and 3rd generation semi-auto pistols (Models 39 and 59), but also a British L1A1 with synthetic "Pebble" furniture and an Australian L1A1 with their distinctive "Coachwood" furniture set to round out my Commonwealth FALs collection (along with my ex-OPP 8L C1A1). Nothing cost me more than $725 all-in, which is entirely satisfactory for what I received.

Other than the above, I was sitting pretty WRT modern handguns and had no real "holes" to fill within my collection. Well, truth be told it is now my Son'a and (to a much lesser extent) my Wife's collection, since all but 3 of our handguns are now registered in their names. I managed to get through twice in order to transfer 40 firearms. One to the Wife in the event of "grandfathering" and 39 to my son as an "early inheritance". The governent basically forced my hand, saying that this would be the last opportunity to bequeath my restircted firearms to my son as there would be no registration transfers after the freeze takes effect. What a crock of sh$t! But I digress.... we do what we must in order to pass on the torch, right? So that's what I did. But what about all of the guys and gals with kids too young to receive restricted firearms? What were they supposed to do?!?!

That is a pain about the mags and if you were planning on competing in certain divisions, but the TS is a sweet shooter and a step up.

Yup the TS is a very nice gun. Just doesn't work for me. If/when I get the time I'll try the mag conversion. Otherwise I'll just let it sit until a regime change and trade it for a S2.:)

Curious was there a mix up at the retailer? Or just confusion because the pics can look so similar?

When I bought my CZ TS2, the retailer actually transferred to me a CZ P09. I gather the paperwork from distributor was incorrect. I caught it in time because I called the CFO to verify another purchase and they mentioned the P09. I was able to cancel and re-acquire but had I not spoken to the CFO I would be getting a unwanted surprise right about now. Anyway as you say, hopefully they'll be a change to the current restriction.

I think I just clicked ADD to cart without reading the description. It was going to be a backup gun to my backup gun so no big deal, it can just lounge around in the gun room for now. :)

Couple I regret not picking up, I just couldn't bring myself to drop double or more what the guns were worth 6 months earlier.

Picked up a couple I've wanted for a while, and a couple I didn't know I wanted until I saw them....I just regret not buying more.... C'est la vie! Looking forward to getting rid of the current government.

No regrets on money spend, although like others, I wish I had bought a few more. Knowing how things will work out in the end (after the registrations go through) I may have done things a bit differently. For example, I wasn't sure if I could find one that I wanted at a decent price, so I purchased a used Norinco clone. Then I found a new Norinco, at an elevated price, so I thought I would add that one. Then I found another new one at $200 less than the second one, so I "averaged down my cost" and bought that as well. I will now have three clones and could have purchased a name brand model of the same funds, but still no regrets.

Wish I'd had the extra money to buy ones that were always a someday purchase. I don't exactly "regret" not getting them, but it's a bummer I may never get to. I wanted a 9mm 1911, a 357 single action revolver, and I was waiting to see what pistol was selected for work, and then I'd buy my own of the same variety. I got a sig and a glock, but looks like it may be a walther that's the winner. Oh well. Hopefully the dip#### liberals will get tossed and we can get a chance again.

I've never regretted any decision to buy any gun, ever. I didn't go too wild leading up to the freeze - I already had what I felt was "enough" - but I did buy a few more.

I can say, though, that there are a few times I've regretted SELLING a gun, but never buying one!

None, the colt gold cup national match was on my wish list for years, just grateful I found one. Also don’t regret buying a bunch of extra mags and springs. Tough to find now.

Needed a 22 revolver and my first dive in the EE was a ruger single 10, absolute joy to shoot.

I do regret the bond arms snake slayer I bought years ago, such a stupid gun, but still gets shot on occasion as a joke. Tried giving it to my brother and he didn’t even want it. Sort of regret not selling or trading it for something else

I would have to disagree, I really enjoy shooting the Snake Slayer, it's different from my other handguns and it is well built. Impossible to be accurate with it, but fun to shoot!

Like the late Lemmy Kilmister once said 'I don't do regrets'. I did spend way more money than what was planned however. Libs forced me to purchase handguns I would have in the next five years, so budget did take a huge hit. I would of liked another double action revolver (only other one I have is a Smith & Wesson 19 classic), and a Beretta 92X Performance to name a few, but I'm overall satisfied with what I have. I'm still waiting for three, of which two were quite expensive (New Browning Hi Power in Silver Chrome and Smith & Wesson model 41).
