Regrets are for losers that maybe should think before spending money they don't have.
Well that might not be the case at all. What i was getting at is maybe you bought (and could easily afford) 5 different gun brands that are very much the same type gun, all in the same caliber for a $1000 a piece. Now you cannot sell them, and because we naturally take a shine to one over another, are not likely to use all of them and for the most part, 3 or 4 of them they will sit forever in your safe unused.
Maybe you could have put that money towards a nice new ATV or boat motor that you would use. That is kind of what i was getting at.
As far as myself, I bought 3 different single action .22 revolvers, that are virtually the same gun. Now the price of them was under $300 a piece so not a problem as far as affordability but in reality eventually a couple of them are going to sit unused.
Regrets on a non purchase was not getting a decent higher caliber double action revolver, and thinking I could wait out for last minute price drop on the Beretta 92s surplus guns that were for sale at Elwood Epps, up to when the hammer dropped. Should hear bit the bullet and go one I think.
Now the gun lost in the mail is one of my greatest fears. I had a couple parcels go missing never to be seen again before Christmas but all were IntelCom courier who seemed to be able to lose 50% of the parcels going through its crime city Thunder Bay depot and not Canada Post. So far they have been batting 100% on deliveries and timing. With the number of truck accidents happening through northern Ontario this winter ist is a wonder any parcels are getting through the country that have to travel that route.my only regret is one of the guns I bought might be lost in the mail - damnit.
