You can use a AR charging handle in the raven 9
You can use a AR charging handle in the raven 9
While all three charging handles have the same characteristics the Ar15 is to short and the AR 10 is to long. The Raven9 charging handle fits in the middle. I guess the longer AR10 might fit but it would not lock given it is to long. Not sure how a shorter charging handle would fit or work. I don't own an AR just a Raven9 and a FX9 in this style of PCC. I'll check and see if the FX9 charging handle will fit in the Raven
I suspect it won't. Just checked, it wont, to short.

Different length than the AR15?

Is the charging handle on the AR9 the same length as the charging handle made for the AR 15.

Belted the Lochart 223 is not an AR. I assume you were building an AR not working on a Lockhart rifle.
I asked John T a friend of mind to explain to you the difference and why the Lockhsrt uses a,plug that replaces the top charging handle if the shooter doesn't want to use the top charging handle. Lockhart has a video on their website showing how to swap a conversion kit going from the 9mm to the 223. They use the same buttstock. Spring and buffer from the 9MM in the 223. Personally I would replace the 8oz buffer from the 9MM with a 3oz buffer. I would use the 9mm spring but some might want to go with a lighter spring. Frankly the springs main function is to return the bolt to battery but there you are. FYI the Raven9 uses a proprietary charging handle not the AR charging handle.

The plug is held in place by an Allen key that is accessible from underneath with the bolt in about the half way position.
Ran the Raven 9 in another match this past weekend. Still happy. Looking hard at the Raven 223.
I got Raven9 in three days from purchase. Their 223's I heard are in high demand and they are backlogged. I think their site says 3 to 4 weeks.
