**UPDATE** for CZ Bren 2 MS Barrel Components only at Dlask Arms Corp.

Yeah pretty much. It's the little parts that retain the gas regulator, as well as providing detent between gas settings.

They can be swapped from the other assembly, but would probably require a small hammer/punch.

I think I understand now. Thanks a lot, it took a little time for my smooth brain to comprehend.

Honestly, with how easy (and maybe necessary..?) the regulator/piston parts are to remove, the small latch parts are the most valuable to source, IMO.

Yeah wondering what other small parts. Already ordered, piston springs, gas regulator assembly, piston from the Handguard kit, gas tube detent spring, detent and pin.

What is the gas tube detent spring, detent and pin? I don’t see it on the parts exploded diagram.

Leigh, am I completely insane to want an option where I can have the original gas block and trunnion swapped back to my R barrel while the new aftermarket gas block and trunnion will go onto my NR barrel?
It will probably cost a bit more... but everything that are factory original will be together...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!!

This. Would love to know this as well

What parts we need to order to make it “drop-in” barrel? It seems many parts are required?

Take your gas piston out of your gun like you would for cleaning. You need all of that. So, the first part that you turn and holds it all in is your regulator, next is the piston which goes in the regulator, then the piston rod, and spring. The other part you need is the little lever that you pushed down to take your regulator out, which has a small spring and a roll pin.

It will be simple to swap all of this between different barrels, with the exception of the little lever you pushed to unlock the regulator. That will require a punch, and has small fiddly bits, but is still easily doable. Keep in mind that you need tools to change the barrel anyway, so even moving stuff from one barrel to another won't slow the process down much.

If it was me, I'd just try to source the parts that are pinned in. Everything else is just spare parts. Assuming you are going between barrels of the same caliber that is.

Gentlemen, chill. We are on it and will have most, if not all of the parts to have a drop on system. No need to scramble.

So far we have coming, or making, springs, regulator, regulator latch and cross pin, and very possibly bolt heads for 7.62.

Things this time of year run a bit slower but we will get there.

Be good, be safe and spend the next week thinking about those you love. 2024 will be better, I promise.

Merry Christmas to all.

That’s great to hear, but I won’t be satisfied, unless I’m completely surrounded by loads of random and redundant Bren 2 parts lol.

Im a bit of a noob here, but wouldn't you still need a third party gas regulator since the original was modified for the longer barrel?

The expenses would keep on piling up, fellas...Sheesh.

You sure about that ? I don't remember you being here when we changed out the barrels...
