Recieved mine today. Overall quality is much better than the SE. I love the new paddle mag release, so much smoother and easier to use. Not a huge fan of the new forend, specifically the swell and flat bottom. Would be great for bench shooting but carrying and using on the move not as much, just feels less handy. That said it's not a huge inconvenience by any means, just a small gripe. Trigger is decent, much better than a run of the mill SKS or AK, better than the SE not as good as the SA original run. That said i think Overall id take an SA or SE over the M, but an M over the lmg or SR by a wide wide margin. Just feels a little less sleek. The handguard, and extra weight at the front just make it slightly less pleasant to hold and aim naturally idk. Again, small stuff it still is a fantastic rifle and i wish i bought another. The main thing will be the range. I will compare the accuracy with an SE, I don't anticipate any meaningful differences as neither the lmg or SR i found to be any more accurate than the SE. But we will see, I'll post some pics.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the 3D gap filler piece that goes in between the mag and trigger guard?

I vaguelly remember there used to be someone on GP a while ago selling these, but the add is long gone since.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those.

I guess the main issue (at least in my mind), is TI's claim "There were less then 0.05% (half of a tenth of a percent) rifles affected over the entire SA and SE shipments, yet continues to be a big and ongoing controversy." From what I see, especially from they guys who own many of these is that the number is probably ATLEST 50% if not greater. If the product really has that many issues, its time to get them rectified . I don't care if this is a $1200 rifle or $6000 rifle WE as consumers should not roll over and accept it... but I guess that's the Canadian way, just like the 180 line. Funny enough, the tens of thousands of Norinco firearms that came into Canada did not experience the same issue. There were a few known issues but to the best of my knowledge, they were corrected. It's just sad so many are willing to justify the lack of QC to themselves and accept a substandard product. A lot of folks have lost their backbone in life.
 
Sometimes when I view this thread I wonder what the average Poly spy thinks, who’s just infiltrated CGN to get the scoop on what the latest terrifying machinations of war we’re talking about, and they stumble in here only to be infinitely tantalized by the onslaught of strange 5 digit code speak and combo racial/homo slurs, and why grown men are suddenly worried about 2mm increments.

Anyways must be a spectacle from the outside looking in.
