Who makes the best Alaskan rifle today?

Unlike the other two, that's at least a plausible explanation hahaha.

There is no way the photographer is anywhere near that bear, and it sure is reacting to something!

Tell me you're unfamiliar with the Dominion Land Survey System without telling me you're unfamiliar with the Dominion Land Survey System.

Go figure, people who don't live out there probably generally are lol

Thought it was messing with someone who had a 9mm, but realized its a 22lr

I knew people that used both the 9mm and WMR, the WMR was more effective. Shoemaker is not the first guy to take a Grizzly with a 9mm pistol.

Those photos are from a video I saw yesterday on YouTube or Instagram or somewhere like that… she has 3 cubs with her and looks like the guy driving the truck is just trying to get as close as possible to her….

She was on the road, got off the road with three cubs and crossed the fence. You can see in the background she has all kinds of space. Driver (a local) stopped to video her and she charged. A truck. Now, she had oodles and oodles of room. There is literally nothing between her and Glacier National Park. Now, you get between her or near her and her cubs on foot? You are in trouble. Like I said, a Grizzly met its end there a year ago. Literally ending right on top of the guy that finished it.

Joel, I’ve been on the road all day. Take a breather.

You have zero experience with Grizzlies. Zero. So what’s your deal?

Gee, you think if I knew anything about grizzly behaviour, maybe I wouldn't be asking what was going on there?

Are you insecure that I'd try to one up you on bear knowledge or something? Course I have no experience with em. Never said I did...

Whatever butthurts ya so bad here, I cant help you with it

So what happens to the Farmer fixing fences or working Cattle, the guy walking his Dog or the Recreational Cyclist? You know, people going about their lawful business.

And 3 cubs, they're prolific contrary to the otherwise common claim that they are not.

Years ago I was in that part of the World looking at a roadkilled deer, guy pulls up, wants to load the deer up, says he's from the University and wants to so an autopsy on it, I said I can tell you what killed it. He said, Ok, I'll take it home and feed it to my dogs.

Mean to hit that area again soon. Rumour has it there's a Mystery Meat Taco Stand near Browning that serves Coyote Tacos, etc.

Not this again.

Let’s get back to Alaskan rifles. This is my concept of an Alaskan rifle, from the chambering (260grs of .375 at 2500fps) to the shoulder weight (in the 7s).
