Poor experience with Calgary shooting center

First time potential buyer with Calgary shooting centre wanted to buy a Bergara rifle which was on sale yesterday with no expiry date called to buy today and was told no way can we hounor yesterday prices. Very disappointing I will look elsewhere with that kind of customer service

Your assumption would seem to be that the retailer could re-supply at the same cost, but I believe that your assumption is flawed. In fact, the sale-priced items might have been purchased at a sale price (which was being passed on to customers), and it's entirely possible that the next shipment will be priced at a different price. But... who cares about the retailer's cost?

In any event, it's your hard-earned dollar, so take your business wherever you want.

I don’t blame the OP for his frustration, many shops don’t post sale expiry dates and it can be frustrating.

I don’t shop at CSC because they over-inflate their prices but they do carry a wide variety of products many people are interested in. Like many people said, you decide where and how you spend your money. I am just posting this to add fuel to the fire.

Yesterday, I saw Cabellas had item 'on sale' from $150 to $99...today I went to purchase..nope...no sale lol..they didn't have an {noticeable?} end date either... oh well..boo hoo on us I guess. ;)
Funny, they price match competitors easily, but not themselves by less than a calendar day..

So... speaking of Cabela's and sales prices..... about three weeks ago I added some ammo from a sale into my shopping cart.... and then forgot about it.
Went to purchase something on their most recent sale.... and the ammo boxes were still in my cart for the previous sale price, even though they were no longer on sale.

I figured it would correct it if I went to check out.... but nope. Went through at the sale price from before. Dunno about this long term, but gonna keep trying it now!

Bought a scope on sale a while back from CSC. It was laborious at best but they seemed in chaos because of some damage & renovations to the store ....... Land of confusion ....... Employees were polite and did their best to help out. It all came out fine.

I feel a bit sorry for the OP. When I first joined this forum, I was a little “naive” in my postings, and was rightly (although not in every case), given a hard time by this group. You live and learn I suppose. Personally it never hurts to ask a business about an expired sale price. Lesson learned is not to post your interaction with said business on this site…the keyboard warriors will eat you alive.

CSC have always made me feel like they valued me as a customer. I don't know what the culture is, or who is driving it, but they are a phenomenal team.
