We have upgrade packages for sale. They are $739. Our SKU is ISS11651. (M10X Gen 3 Upgrade Kit: Bolt, Carrier, Firing Pin, Piston w/ Spring, Recoil Buffer, Hammer Spring). We recommend emailing our gunsmith before purchasing one as there are other issues covered under warranty that might further impede function. There were a lot of early barrels that were not chambered correctly and will require a replacement.

Thanks for that. So if I'm understanding correctly, the currently available Gen 3s (that aren't yet on the website) are the restricted length ones? Is that correct? If so, any timeline on non-restricted versions?

No, we only have NR guns currently in stock. The only thing we are missing out on from the American gen 3 guns is the CHF barrels. If you want 16" barreled version email us!

Sorry, I should've explained further. The Lage models have the older handguard but gen 3 internals. We also have guns with Zhukov stocks, gen 2 handguards and gen 3 internals as well as complete gen 3 rifles with Zhukov stocks, again just no CHF barrel.

Copy, thanks. All guns in stock have gen 3 internals at a minimum. Much appreciated!
 
We have 16" CHF barrels. There are no 18.5" CHF barrels because the minimum run is larger than the current market would support.
All barrels will interchange on the receiver.
 
I was told the 12.5” Gen II does not need upgrading.

Is this true? What parts from the upgrade kit are compatible with the 12.5” regardless if it needs it or not?

Ahhh yup that checks out. Never had a 7.62x39 before so never shot chinese surplus other than maybe at a range in washington where I tried the full auto AK-47. And let’s just say I did not have time to look at the ejection pattern hahaha
