Showoff your SHORTY 12G SHOTTY (14" or under and Mods)!

Gimpy, is that all Turkish knock off magpull plastic on your Churchill? Looks pretty "SGA" ergonomic..... is it also an 870 clone?

Ya it's FAGPUL (Fake Magpul) The forend is a lot smaller than the real deal but this is a short mag tube so has to be.
These bits are for a Canuck gun but with a little fitting on the pump it works. Stock bolts right up.

It's 870ish but I read somewhere the Churchill is a clone of a CZ pump.

Here are mine 2 Wingmasters and an H&R (the Dlask 8.5" is sold):

Is that silver one a new england firearms 12 gauge? I had one exactly like it. Shooting slugs out of it would bruise me to ####!! So light and the stock is thin...

Yes, it's an NEF Survivor and yes it is awful to shoot any high brass 12 Ga rounds, the stock is brutal. It works well with sub calibre inserts, .410, 9mm, .45acp, etc

This is my favourite, it is remarkably pleasant to shoot.

The AKDAS .12ga Breaching Shotgun. It has a 3-round magazine plus one in the chamber, with 4 more in the sidesaddle mounted to the Receiver. Quite lightweight when used as a stand-alone Breaching Shotgun, the Breacher can just throw it over his shoulder against his back until required. Although the gun is set-up for mounting under a picatinny Handguard, this is a ridiculous configuration due to weight and balance issues. It is essentially unworkable, making the primary weapon very heavy and slow to manoeuvre. Weapon-mounted is is NOT a viable use for the AKDAS shotgun, which is otherwise a very sturdy and reliable "specialist" design.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Wonder how the weight and balance issues compare to the old school 870 versions.
They'd be even worse with an 870's steel receiver versus the Lightweight aluminum of the AKDAS shotgun's Receiver. Seriously - the dismounted shotgun seems to weigh very little in-hand, but stick it on the front end of a rifle and it seriously compromises both weapon systems!

My 'bump in the night' collection.

Those ESSTAC cards are fantastic. I used to find loose rounds all over the property that would fall out of the cheap ones, I haven't lost a single shell since I switched to these. I use them on the 3-gun shotty, the bedroom shotty, the "can't find my other shotty" shotty, this TAC-14, and even put one on my wife's "My husband isn't home but he'll bury you when he gets back" 870. The only one I don't use them on is my winchester stainless marine, because she's too purdy for accessories.

The retro tac-14 is pretty incredible. I don't have the greatest opinion of newer 870s but this one came out of the box smooth as butter. The wood in the stock doesn't split when it gets damp like the turkish shotguns either. 100% satisfied with that purchase.

Got this Moss on trade, tried to liquidate on EE but only had low-ballers so decided to abandon a 870 Marine project and instead landed on this; waiting on Amazon (yup) for a GG&G side saddle but otherwise quite happy with it now and I think I'm definitely pro-Mossberg even though I've ever only had Rem pumps up till now.

Should I loose the irons for a red dot? The factory sights are quite nice.

not looking for a woox handguard to go with it by chance are ya?

That stock sure is purdy. As for the sight I'd probably stick a dot on there. I wonder if there's a plate for an RMR so you could co-witness irons.
I like the mossy actions too, the way the loading gate is out the way makes reloads seem easier. Like a funnel it gobbles up the shells.
Now put a mini shell adapter in there and you get some serious capacity.

Indeed debated at length for the matching Woox forend. The Surefire was near impossible to find/get though and I went with the wood to balance out the boom-stick against the DSF. Also didn't want to go full fancy-pants ha.

That wood is pretty nice, they went with the magpul pistol grip angle which works well with the Mossberg's longer trigger reach due to where they placed the action release..... how much is the Woox wood?
