Haha, okay THAT made me laugh.
But seriously, what does it say?
It was/is the cuff title for the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler division.

"Liebstandarte SS Wolf Blitzer".
And by the way, An EK1 Knight's Cross with Oak leaves, swords and diamonds would be worth WELL over $6000 if it was real Only the Grand Cross is rarer, they only made ONE.
Is it authentic, I have a nice collection of 3rd reich memorbilia if your a collector of such fine things?I choked on my 'set the clocks forward' morning coffee
Clave, its only a EK1 with oak leaves
Only one EK1 with oak leaves/swords/in gold/with diamonds was ever made...it was awarded to Oberst Hans-Ulrich Rudel
The Grand Cross was just another fantasy of Goerings
I got the tunic from an aquantince and gun show dealer who simply didnt want to sell it publicly....to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands

What did you mean by preventing it from falling into the wrong hands?
It would also not be likely that such a lucky "Head Squad Leader" would wear his gorget EK along with his tunic ribbon AND his breast pin EK. Certainly not all three on a field uniform.
One is a Knight's Cross with oak leaves.
One is an Iron Cross second class ribbon.
One is an Iron Cross first class badge.
.
Anyway, enough nitpicking, Klunk inspired me

I've also got a Waffen SS corporal, SS Panzer Sergeant, and five different Canadian regiments. I'm also working on a tropical FJ uniform, but I hate sewing patches so I'm procrastinating.
Yours at least has the right breast eagle with swastika in the correct place. Klunk has to move his. For some reason his seems to be sewed onto the left sleeve.
