Brand new .223 available in Canada - NS with FRT

I doubt there is a bunch of tacticool tack on parts for this one wildhog.... but you never know!

I had no idea the type 81's were 2moa...... I kind of wish I had bought a folder when they were less then a grand.
I allways figured they were SKS accurate at best.

A simple non wood stock black / green at around $1200.00 would be more aligned to what's happening. Buyer gets a fair deal / dealers move product fast / factory got orders and the middleman keeps keeping on.This was suggested by my daughter who is in 4th year business at UBC. Just saying.

Too bad your daughter isn't in the firearms industry. ;) They stuck with wood to keep the feds off it. Their whole idea of guns is based on looks.

The horse cops will deem it an AR variant. Semi-auto, .223, stanag mags, aside from wood furniture, how is it any different than our favorite sporting rifle? Or, how is this not a Mini 14? I mean, aside from the fact that this Alcor 223 hasn't been in the hands of an Islamic nut job who decides to shoot up a girls school?

If the horse cops are fine with this being NR, can someone explain why we can't just run an American made Ruger Mini 14?

I could recite all sorts of reasons why this rifle wouldn’t/ shouldn’t be banned, but then when the Liberals ban it, I’ll just look like a fool.

For now it’s approved. 🤷‍♂️ I’m sure Poly is working on a colorful PDF brochure, with this rifle and some others, to declare them assault rifles.

They’ll go after shotgun next, the did already, but I mean in a big way.

They won’t stop. No amount of begging them to stop will make them.

Is supersonic 300 Blackout legal for hunting in Alberta? Would a 300 Blackout version of this rifle be importable under the same FRT?

Lab nitwits will say it's a variant of one of the prohibited semi shotguns ;)
Likely. They’ll get to everything eventually.

There was a CBC story talking about a range closing. The comments at the bottom made me ill - “nobody should have guns but the Police” “take up darts, it’s cheaper”, ridiculous stats about children getting shot … it was horrendous.

People have no concept of freedom. It’s all “if I don’t need it, then you shouldn’t have it.”

They can’t see past the lobby doors of the GTA Condo to conceive that someone could actually live in the wilderness (as my family does) and could require a fast, maneuverable, repeating rifle.

WELL! I don’t think people in GTA need cars! And if they need cars all they need is a Model T or similar.

Any car that is capable of exceeding the speed limit is designed for the autobahn and has no place in Canada. Buy them back, and crush them. Including classic cars that are KNOWN death traps.

Start with Justin Trudeau’s classic gull-wing Mercedes

"It's the Economy Stupid" comes to mind, plus it's a new to the market item with no real track record to speak of.

The CZ 600 Alpha's that Tod put on sale for likely close to cost went in less then 24hours... $666 delivered, This Turkish Yote Blaster is almost 3 times the price after tax and shipping.

Plus no doubt some might want to wait until the end of the month and see if Stanag Fed Semi's are next on the Liberal chopping block.... :(

Well there's a few reasons of the top of my head.... :)
And the CZ Alpha 600 was way worth it! Nothing wrong with this new 5.56 rifle for hunting, it's overpriced a tad - semi auto 5 rds or not ...

Can we stop posting about this deal? I missed out and never want to be reminded of it 🤣

If those are dire wolves you can make a human from a chimp with 20 gene edits...
Correct, they are not authentic 20,000 year old animals..... It's been a while since the current level of Dire Wolf DNA alive on the planet has been this high though....:)

Some people think that people were a genetic manipulation of the past, and those "scientists" were the "Gods"..... all mighty God or advanced science... pick your poison!

Nope. They're 0% dire wolf. If they're anything special its some new thing all together, but realistically they're just GMO grey wolves. And we've been making GMO animals for a long ass time.

Indeed. A dachshund was once a wolf, after all :p
