Richard. It's not a sticking point with me, and I don't poo-poo semi autos. Where do you get that from? The OP was asking why Canadian versions have a shorter mag tube than the exact same shotgun sold in the states. I suggested the reason is because of our mag limitations, but you seem to disagree...so please do elucidate...why pray tell does the Canadian version have a shorter mag tube if not for our magazine limitations?It's a sticking point for that member. He always poo-poo's on semi auto's claiming they can only hold 5 rounds.
I was pointing out the fact that five 3" shells equals six 2 3/4's plus you get one on the lifter and one chambered.
I do agree with him that such limits on semis over pump shotguns is just dumb.
