Good thing the FART is not law
Or, worse still, keep voting Liberal.Unfortunately, dam near everyone is complying. I don't see people using, selling or buying anything the government has arbitrarily banned. I post a wtb, it gets removed, I post something for sale, I get a temp ban and it gets removed. Canadians will roll tf over like they always do.
I feel bad for all gun owners that have been living through this madness for the last several yearsI feel bad for all the current owners that dropped their hard earned money on these guns.
So what is the next gun(s) we're waiting to see banned by FRT publication / change?
The tighter the govt grips, the more people will ignore them. The black market will increase and the govt will lose even more control as people realize purchasing a semi auto is no more illegal than purchasing a full auto.there are still plenty of guns trading hands, just not in the open in places where agents of the state can see it happening.
Then you let the lieberals win. They are trying to dissuade people from owning guns and you have complied.not surprised. didnt buy one for this reason. i won't be buying anything else, either, until i see something let up. watch the henry homesteader come next.
The R9 is not a shrunk down R18. It has a completely different operating system. If a pistol caliber direct blowback carbine is a "variant" of a rifle caliber, gas operated, piston rifle then basically any firearm can be a variant of any other firearm. If this is the standard for a variant then how is a 44 mag lever rifle not a variant of an AR15?
At the 3:00 minute mark the genius himself called the R9 a shrunk down version on the Mk18. Once the RCMP determined the R18 is an AR180b variant, then of course they would determine the R9 is also a prohib variant, based on what the “designer” said himself. This should have been no surprise…
Stupid for certain but a lot of the 22 replicas are already on the listOr is it a "variant" because it physically resembles the R18? In which case, every 22 rimfire replica is now a variant of the rifle or SMG it is trying to resemble ... which is just stupid.

not really. i just had no interest in owning it.The tighter the govt grips, the more people will ignore them. The black market will increase and the govt will lose even more control as people realize purchasing a semi auto is no more illegal than purchasing a full auto.

just wasn't interested in dropping $2k on a pcc. considering an M&P 15 goes for like $700, hard to justify buying some random 9mm turkish pcc for twice that. and yes, the fact that the frt wasn't confirmed also swayed my decision, but was not the ultimate end all be all of why i didn't buy it.But WHY did you have no interest in owning it? Because it was likely to be banned? Or because you just didn''t like the tactical Black platform for some strange reason.....
You just said yourself that the reason you didn't buy one was because you thought it would be banned. So....... ???
