I don’t understand why everybody get up in arms over a stupid thing like writing your place of birth that is already on your PAL. On top of it - most put in the CC infos without fear of anything. A bunch of you are anal about providing infos thats already in the book with the GRC. This is just stupid.

Up until very recently if someone had this info they could access your RCMP IWS account.
I also do not see anywhere on my PAL that has my city of birth.

Every now and then, I'll be buying a gun privately, after the PAL check, they've seen my PAL in person and a few guys demanded more. They have asked me sign a receipt with the serial number and or want pics of my PAL, front and back with their phone. No. I guess you ran a PAL check for nothing. I've walked away from a few deals over tyrannical over compliant yuppy yes men. Meanwhile, they let immigrant drug kingpins and killers walk on bail, after getting busted with full auto Glocks and Draco AK pistols.

Tenda is great to buy from as they do have good prices and somewhat free shipping
Bullseye and CGS are better to deal with in my opinion but have higher prices
If you need actual customer service Tenda is about as bad as it gets unfortunately, they seem to care only about sales

Its not a law, my place of birth is not required to complete a PAL check for a non restricted firearm, ammunition, magazines or barrels.
It is needed for the purchase of a restricted firearm.
I've ordered from a vendor who asks for the appropriate information.

Tenda also wants you to send a copy of your PAL by email if you buy firearms.
Either you do what they want or order somewhere else. I doubt they will make exceptions.

I dont call the ministry of transportation everytime someone borrows my truck to see if their drivers license is valid.
What's the point of a license if you have to call the RCMP every two weeks when you buy somthing related to your hobby.
