Lets see your rifles with peep sights

Probably built by a gunsmith or a individual who had skill!. There might be info on the bottom of the barrel. The springfield is a slick action i have a couple I want to have built into something. I finally have all the parts for a 338.06 build!.
Off the top of my head I think this is the only bolt rifle I have with a peep sight, or at least the nicest one. Springfield’03 in .270wcf, I have no idea who made it, absolutely no markings anywhere other than the caliber stamp.

Skinner 860 on my MRC 1999 in 35 Whelen. Nice affordable and simple peep.

Sako M78 with a peep sight that fits on the dovetails. It's similar to but not the same as the one for their centerfires.

Another pre-war boltstop-mounted Mauser peep. This one for target rifles. Too flimsy for a hunting rfile.

This Lyman for the Mannlicher-Schoenauer also mounts on the bolt stop but rotates out of the way when the bolt is withdrawn.

Wow what caliber is that mauser in?.

The Mauser in the photo is just one of my Model S in 8x57. The German target peep sight came with it when I bought it years ago, but the sight is actually intended for the Mauser 98 single-shot Wehrmanngewehr target rifle in 8.15 x 46 mm.
