With respect to semi auto rimfire,
26" OAL in the smallest firing setup (or completely collapsed stock if adjustable), with no limitations on barrel length (muzzle devices counts for OAL, not for Barrel length as long as its torqued on and not hand tight/easily removable)
I run a 12.5" CF barrel on a Tuff 22 receiver with magpul stock with just a thread protector. My barrel sits 1/2" past the end of the stock.
It also is beyond the required 26" OAL with all length of pull spacers removed from the stock end if wanted.
You have different options, a pinned stock on a shorter barrel will count, however id suggest running a longer 12-12.5" barrel. This would allow you some grace length to run a chassis or different stocks in the future if you change your mind.
The 9" vs 16" GSG 16 is a good example of this regulation, although now prohibited to buy or use.
22 also does not have any magazine cap limitations, if you're building one from scratch, get a receiver that can take the 22rd TUFF 22 Mags.
You can also mill out your stock 10/22 receiver to accept those mags as long as you don't make any modifications to the magazine itself.
Id also suggest getting the Grey Birch or IBI barrel over the Dlask if you havent picked on yet, they have tighter groupings from my testing, similar cost point.
IF you have any questions feel free to reach out, I've built like a dozen of those between friends and family![]()
I Wish I had 25 rnd cap
I ordered one and it shipped the same day just before the strike was announced, so now it sits at Canada Post till the stike is over.Anyone ordered and tested it yet?
Why would you do that/alter the factory mag well, when it comes with the 597 adapter for all the high cap mags you want.Mill out your receivers mag opening with a Dremel to take tuff 22 mags. look at the tuff 22 mag images, you'll see the plastic nub at the front that needs space made for, Pick up a mag, Dremel receiver till it fits
DLASK used to offer it as a service and nobody sent it in because they wanted 200$ in service fees for machining plus shipping. Was cheaper to just but their receiver at that price.
Because you can use both. The cutout doesn't affect the adapter or OEM mags. Plus both the Remington mags and HC3R mags are sometimes hard to find. Why would you do that/alter the factory mag well, when it comes with the 597 adapter for all the high cap mags you want.
Me too!I ordered one and it shipped the same day just before the strike was announced, so now it sits at Canada Post till the stike is over.
bummer. are they switching to courier?I ordered one and it shipped the same day just before the strike was announced, so now it sits at Canada Post till the stike is over.
No idea. I would think they would figure something out as they will loose sales if they don't.bummer. are they switching to courier?
Tenda has them in blue and white, only 1 white one left as of this writing, plus a few in blue. I got the 2nd last 224 in white today after perusing some reviews. $30 more for color versions so grey and FDE and OD green sold out first after the cheaper black models. Will these be available in other colour options?
Thanks

I wish! I'd buy a WMR in a heartbeat.These ever going to come in 22wmr or 17hmr?
Rossi has a model in a Modern sporter chassis available in .22 WMR. The Rossi/CBC 7122m Delta (there's a Modern Sporter with a 14.5in barrel and 16in barrel and traditional style with a 21in barrel). Would love to see the 14.5in 7122m Delta model in Canada.I wish! I'd buy a WMR in a heartbeat.
Highly unlikely though...
