I’m in the process of putting a 6mmBR together and am basically down to buying the optic at this point.
I’m not made of money but I’m willing to spend up to $3k territory. I fell for the whole vortex unquestionable lifetime warranty like so many other but I’m tired of distortion at higher power, the poor eye relief at higher magnification. They have served their purpose and now it’s time to start getting into some actual quality glass.
What I’m looking for is a higher magnification scope with good glass and clarity at higher/max power. I will be using this for stationary targets at set distances up to 600yrds with some occasional shooting going out to a 1000yrds. For those I can dial, I also want the ability to shoot at multiple targets at different distance so I’m wanting a Xmas tree style reticle with hash marks for hold over shooting. Im looking for a MOA reticle with 0.250” adjustment in FFP.
To give a idea of what I’m looking for, I’d buy a delta stryker hd 5-50x56mm in a heart beat if it was FFP
Recommendations and suggestions for me to do a little homework on would be appreciated.
