Brno model 21/22, Serial Number and Date Analysis, HELP build it together !

I’ve recently picked up a strange one. It’s a 1941 Waffenwerke A.G. Brünn wartime action, that’s been overstamped with serial 36754 and obviously completed in 1952.
It’s got the round receiver, claw mounts with fitted Hensoldt Weltzar 1.5-6 scope on see through mounts. Horn grip cap and buttplate, jewelled extractor and bolt release. Military flag safety, charger guide, and case colour hardening on the bolt and shroud. It has the bolt guide rib and the slot in the receiver. 7x57. Not sure how to add photos. I posted pics here though.
Thank you for sharing. I added it to the list. Can you make-out the original serial number? The 36754 was probably re-stamped by the gunsmith who customized this rifle, which only coincidentally places it in the 1952 serial number range.

This is what I noted in the list:

"1941, serial #?, round, 22F, 7x57, surplus Brünn wartime action, with bolt guide rib, charger guide, claw mounts, early (original?) Hendsoldt Weltzar 1.5-6 scope. Customized rifle re-stamped with serial number: 36754, which coincidentally places it in the 1952 serial number range."

What I am most interested in is the original action size. I wonder if the action was a common surplus large-ring K98 that was beautifully turned-down to small-ring dimensions by Brno, or, was it indeed built on a rare VZ-33 or G.33/40 wartime small-ring 98 action? This is now the second Brno 22F that I have encountered with a surplus Brünn wartime action with small-ring dimensions. I suspect the later.

It is also worth noting that German arms manufacturers, including occupied Brno, also built hunting rifles during the war !!

Good evening everyone, I was hoping someone could give me a hand to help. Identify what I have with the following rifle. I picked the rifle up in trade and would love to shoot it, but there is no way to add optics to it. To me it looks very much like a model 21, but it doesn’t have the integral site rail. Any thoughts?

Hello All! Im new to this site, but I need help identifying my Brno rifle. The model and caliber. The serial number is 22*** with FHC stamped under it. It has Zbrojovka Brno Narodni Podnik stamped, but I can't find anything with the caliber. It is a double trigger, appears to be a long action, and has the butter knife bolt handle. Also the stock doesn't go out to the end.

Hard to say without photos, but it sounds like a 21H. Does it have the round top or double square bridge?

It looks to be a 1948 manufactured Brno 21H with the round top. Very nice rifle you have there. I do see that the rear sight blade was removed and replaced with a marble brand insert? Is it drilled and tapped for scope bases? it's hard to tell in the photos, but is that the factory single trigger?

Thank you for the response, yes, the real estate place was removed and marble in place. The receiver has not been tapped for scope base. If it’s not a single pet trigger, it is a regular single state trigger.
Cheers

Good, it sounds like it's fairly unmolested (recoil pad was added later). You can do an EE WTB ad to seek out a rear sight if you want to shoot it.

Lol.the EE ad was me. My gunsmith told me he thought it was the ZG 47, and no one had responded to my question above when I placed the ad. Thankfully, a member messaged me and I got the description on the ad corrected.😀

Odd that my mailbox said that it was maxed out, as it only showed me it was 30%. Regardless I went in and cleared out all my messages so to anyone that I have not responded to I’m sorry, but I haven’t received any messages other than from one member who advised me that it was a 21
Cheers
