A Couple of New Prohib Arrivals - Daewoo KC20 & HK93....

A couple of beauties saved! That’s awesome guy! So stoked for you to share those pics with us. Nostalgia for sure.

Dad bought a sporting goods store in the late 80’s… I remember the Daewoo HC20 we had in the store, and also the Saturday a guy bought it and it left for its new home…..

It just did not matter how much I fondled that gun. I just could not convince the old man to bring it home.. In hind sight it was probably cause all the money he was spending on me for hockey…

How did you go about doing that? Direct from them or did you need to use IRunGuns or something like that?

A.s.T.E.k. Armoury.... Just send them a link to the item that you want on the HKParts website and they will calculate brokerage, etc, add the item to their Canadian website, and will then send you a link to the item with the new import pricing so that you can order. Delivery typically takes around 2 months, depending on when you order versus when they place their monthly orders to the US vendors. The process is quite painless and the "Canadian Premium" added to each item as it joins the Canadian website is typically quite reasonable.

I had a friend back in the early 80's who belonged to the same handgun club as I did. He had a Daewoo that I shot occasionally when he brought it out to shoot groundhogs. I honestly don't recall much about it, which likely means that it didn't impress me much.

I was lucky enough to have a HK93 back then for a year or two. Never a problem of any sort with it, loved it and felt it was twice the gun an AR was, but eventually traded it off to another buddy for a HK91...the ultimate gun, at least in my opinion back then...which was stolen, along with the car it was in, only a few weeks later. They went restricted a few years later...we couldn't believe it...and then prohibited shortly after that. The beginning of the end. :(

Thx. I've bought lots of stuff from them.

Did you know they have a veteran discount? You just have to ask them about it and they will set it up for you.
