None of the ww2 designs on that list would be original as the full auto and converted auto were caught earlier. They are mostly civilian semi auto copies.
Thanks. I bought the KC because it looked cool and impressive, beautiful shooter, never jammed. I realize by selling it the 12/5 will be gone but at 63 and all the stupid rules coming down, it's time. I am/was into mostly WW2 firearms.12.5 is mostly HK's, SA AK's and some commercial FAL
You may be able to keep your 12.5 by buying a stripped fal receiver in case you change your mind later... Don't know if you read the list but there are tommy guns in that category (albeit commercial, post war production and semi only) which may keep your interest going.Thanks. In my opinion, you would be very unwise to allow your 12.5 grandfathered status to be gone by transferring your last in that class.I realize by selling it the 12/5 will be gone but at 63 and all the stupid rules coming down...
If I could transfer this 12.5 L I would as many here would benefit from it more. I feel bad for all concerned with all these regulations as I have just 1 and haven't fired it since it went restricted, 90's?In my opinion, you would be very unwise to allow your 12.5 grandfathered status to be gone by transferring your last in that class.
A 12.5 licence is somthing I'd pay 40k for if the govt had them for sale. But NO... the age based discrimination continues.
I am sorry this happened to you. I am concerned this is the future of all the current prohibitions and their reversals. 30 years of waiting to use lawfully acquired property. If I could transfer this 12.5 L I would as many here would benefit from it more. Find a cheapo FAL and buy that. Then sell off your more valuable KC.Thanks. I bought the KC because it looked cool and impressive, beautiful shooter, never jammed. Will they do this with any American website? I got a bunch of stuff I wanted to get that won’t ship to CanadaA.s.T.E.k. Armoury.... Just send them a link to the item that you want on the HKParts website and they will calculate brokerage, etc, add the item to their Canadian website, and will then send you a link to the item with the new import pricing so that you can order. Delivery typically takes around 2 months, depending on when you order versus when they place their monthly orders to the US vendors. The process is quite painless and the "Canadian Premium" added to each item as it joins the Canadian website is typically quite reasonable.

I wouldn't have thought an HK 91 was restricted back then? Maybe due to barrel length?Oh the Memories, I purchased the identical rifle back in 1975 when I was a young Patricia in Victoria. I sold it around 1977/78 as the Victoria city police wouldn't give me a permit to transport it to the range. It was a great rifle but hard on brass, and 5.56/.233 brass wasn't as cheap then as it is now.

Brass that comes out of any of the HK roller delay rifles and SMGs is not worth picking up.
HK 93 not 91I wouldn't have thought an HK 91 was restricted back then? Maybe due to barrel length?

HK 91 was non restricted IF the flash hider was permanently attached, thereby making the barrel long enough.I wouldn't have thought an HK 91 was restricted back then? Maybe due to barrel length?

Oh my lord so many dream guns in one post. Amazing collection my friend !Happy to report the arrival (finally!) of a couple of prohib 12(5) rifles that I bought at Switzer's Auction house back in August. Three months to process a couple of "no-brainer" 12(5) factory semi-auto rifle Registration Transfers is a whole new level of inefficiency courtesy of the Canadian Firearms Program. But I digress, they are here at long last.
First up is an unfired, mint-condition, early-import Daewoo KC20 rifle, the semi-automatic utility/sporting variant of the South Korean K2 select-fire service rifle. The proof of its unfired status is the pristine Gas Piston....

Next up is an equally mint, nearly unfired HK93 - the semi-automatic utility/sporting variant of the HK33 select-fire assault rifle. Note the 5/25, 5/30 and 5/40 Magazines on the various iterations of the modular HK rifle. This rifle is so immaculate that there isn't a single scratch, chip or blemish of any sort to the external finish. Internal bearing surfaces remain freshly parkerized with zero indications of wear. It is like this rifle just left the HK assembly line yesterday instead of 45 years ago in 1981....
